Planning Engineer at One Precious Life (OPL) Academy

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Planning Engineer will:

• Oversee project planning, inventory management, cost control and project management functions
• Prepare program of works to facilitate project execution strategy
• Determine proper engineering techniques and milestone sequences for each project stage
• Monitor day-to-day work progress for a project and provide accurate weekly and monthly reports to the management team
• Track and analyze field results
• Analyze expenses and identify opportunities to save cost
• Manage overall project communications and provide current status updates to vendors, supervisors, and other stakeholders
• Identify gaps in key performance areas and plan activities to increase overall project efficiency
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering preferred or related technical field
• 6 years of relevant work experience in planning and scheduling construction activities is required
• Proven experience in starting and finishing construction projects
• Self-motivated, organized, target-driven and execution focused
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking
• Relevant knowledge of project management software including MS Project
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Budget and financial management skills
