Scaffold Engineer at Pivot GIS Limited

Qualified candidates should have the following:

• B.Sc / HND in Civil or related Engineering field. With Structural Analysis or design experience using STAAD Pro. Or SAACS.
• Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience as a Civil, Maintenance or maintenance engineer in the oil and gas, power or similar process industry.
• Basic Functions
• Shall serve as the Technical Assurance experts for Scaffolding activities and Scaffold Engineering required activity.

Technical / Business Skills:

• Must have hands-on experience in structural analysis using design software’s like STAAD Pro or SACS. Must be able to design; develop scaffold erection modification and dismantling Method Statements and Procedures.
• Understand different types and application of scaffolds in the worksite.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Act as the Scaffold Engineering Subject Matter Expert.
• Analysis of proposed scaffold for suitability for intended purpose.
• Shall be able to develop effective method of execution of designed scaffold to ensure safety of erectors and users.
• Interpersonal Skills & Competencies
• Must be a team player, good interpersonal relationship. Able to prepare detailed reports with statistical inputs, prior experience of team leadership.
• Must be able to determine the right scaffold equipment and tools and their weights.
