So ready for today’s challenge?
Except you are a one-man squad or solopreneur, you are likely to be working in a team. It does not matter if your team is very big or small. What matters most, and will probably affect how well you are successful, is getting to know every member of the team. So today, I am challenging you to get to know your team members very well.
Spend your second day knowing every member of the team. Know what they do, how they do their work, what their roles are and how they relate to what you are to do. You may not know everything about them at this point but as you take time to relate with them, you will begin to find out a lot about them. One key thing I want you to focus on as you discover and know more about your team is who I call the “leader of the pack”. You see, almost every team have that one person that seems to know almost everything about the department and everyone. So, you need to identify this person. This person is likely to know and probably have all the information and knowledge you will need to get you started on the right footing. He or she probably knows where to go or who you should talk to if you ever need anything.
