DO YOU REALLY NEED A JOB? MAYBE YOU DO NOT!

You may actually be thinking: 'Which kind of dumb question is this?' or 'if i do not need a job, what do i really need?'; but the truth remains that you may not really need a job at the moment.

To make this question clearer let us look at two real life scenarios (yes, we do not enjoy theories!)

1. A young man with a BEng. in Civil Engineering looking for a job in a Civil Engineering Company, but has little or no knowledge in Civil Engineering.

(At this point you may say it is not his fault, its the 'bad' system in the country. We understand that, but we are not looking at 'cause and effect'; we are here to solve the problem.)

2. A young lady with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, yet can barely operate the system.

We are assuming you are not casting blames now right?

The question now is: Is it the best option for these two graduates to keep applying for jobs and maybe put some job accounts on auto-apply??

The answer is NO!

Remember: If these graduates are given few months opportunity to learn, they may actually come out very good in their fields!

At this point you must be thinking and wondering, what do they need??

They need to pause and learn. THEY NEED INTERNSHIP, yes INTERNSHIP! They need to learn for a while!

Three or six months internship for these young graduates can turn them into 'hot cakes' in the respective industries.

So what is the message: Figure out what you need at this stage in your life: Either you keep submitting applications or focus, learn and become sought after!
