Job Description
- Assist in packing, labeling and dispensing of prescribed medications by reviewing and interpreting physicians orders
- Maintain records by recording and filing physicians orders and prescriptions
- Source, sort, stock and monitor drug inventory and maintain inventory records
- Undertake administrative tasks as they apply to the pharmacy activities
Requirements
- Pharmacy technician certificate from a recognized school of health technology
- Current annual practice license
- 1-2 years experience as a pharmacy technician
- Good communication skills and customer relation skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Computer literate
