Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in food Science and related field of Sciences
• Master’s degree in Food Microbiology and Food Science and technology is an advantage
• NYSC  dispatch Certificate
• Not less than 3 years of relevant work experience with an understanding of food chemistry, food safety, and food related regulations
• Passionate to be in food industry
• Knowledge of Good manufacturing Practices
• Leadership experience is desirable
• Ability to work Independently and as a team

Duties:

• Independent engagement with bench and laboratory related work activities to support the development of new products, product line extensions and process improvements.
• To engage in Monitoring and evaluation of productions and the quality assurance practices of the developed product through the commercialization process and also identify areas for improvement
• To give recommendations for sources of supplies of raw materials in compliance with established quality assurance standards.
• To maintain laboratory including upkeep of equipment, stock of supplies and supervision of general cleaning of work areas.
• To assists with in-house and on site customer presentations when required. Assist in training new hires, demonstrating lab safety, procedures and techniques.
• To performs other related and assigned duties as necessary.
