    Finance Director


    Position Summary

    • Providing guidance and support to the organization and giving financial advice to help senior executives and top management make key financial and business decisions are at the core of the individual’s responsibility.

    Job Deliverables

    • Collecting, tracking and communicating the financial position of the company to aid key financial decision making.
    • Prepare and examine financial records and also make financial report to management.
    • Oversee, review and adhere to the budgets for each business department.
    • Assist in company-wide budgetary planning.
    • Ensure that all of the company’s financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislations.
    • Monitor cash flow, accounts and other financial transactions.
    • Update and implement financial policies and procedures.
    • Supervise the accounts team in the facilitation of day-to-day operations.
    • Seek out methods and practices to reduce financial risks.

    Required Qualifications and Competencies
    Qualifications:

    • M.Sc in Accounting or any related field. Must be ACCA or ICAN certified.
    • Microsoft Office Skills
    • Must be very adept at using MS Packages especially MS Excel and accounting software.

    Experience:

    • Five (5) years working experience in a similar Finance Director role.
    • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written forms is essential to succeed on this role; and also email and business communication.
    • Innovativeness and Drive: Ability to generate and act on new ideas is also key for anyone to succeed on this role.
    • Respect: Treats colleagues and customers in a way that demonstrates integrity, equity, honesty and fairness.

    Position Summary

    • The primary task of the ideal candidate is to prepare and examine financial records and also prepare and make financial report to management.

    Job Deliverables

    • Assist in compiling, analyzing and reporting financial data to management.
    • Assist in creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc.
