Production Accountant at Genesis Studios Limited

Position Summary

• The primary task of the ideal candidate is to prepare and examine financial records and also prepare and make financial report to management.

Job Deliverables

• Compile, analyze and report financial data to management.
• Create periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, etc.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform internal and external audits and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist management in making financial decisions by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
• Analyzing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue.
• Complying with all company, local, state and federal accounting and financial regulations.
• Processing and computing tax payments and returns.

Required Qualifications And Competencies
Qualification:

• BSc/HND in Accounting or any related field. ACCA or ICAN qualification would be an added advantage.

Microsoft Office Skills:

• Must be very adept at using MS Packages especially MS Excel. Hands-on experience with accounting software like Quickbooks would be an added advantage.

Experience:
Two (2) years working experience in a similar accounting role.

Communication Skills:

• Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written forms is essential to succeed on this role; and also email business communication.

Innovativeness and Drive:

• Ability to generate and act on new ideas is also key for anyone to succeed on this role.
