Reports to: Plant Manager
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate day to day activities of the Electrical/Instrumentation section
- Plan and implement preventive maintenance activities in the Electrical/Instrumentation Section
- Prepare the departments yearly budget and ensure implementation of the approved funds
- Ensure constant review and implementation of departmental SOPs
- Manage installation, testing, calibration and commissioning of electrical/instrumentation equipment
- Liaise with third party contractors to provide effective and qualitative service.

- Prepare production plan for approval and circulate job change schedules to all concerned
- Ensure mould preparation at all times meet production requirements
- Inspect mould drawings in line with Customers specification and advise mould maker on desirable modification(s) where necessary, producing drawings reflecting changes

Responsibilities
- Assist with consistent monitoring of equipment and machine operations to reduce machine down time
- Assist with implementation of planned periodic preventive maintenance on all the processing machines and equipment to achieve at least 90% machine efficiency
- Prepare the daily and monthly checklist on machines in the Punch Press, Welding and Fabrication and Automobile Workshop
- Maintain machine performance record and ensure preventive maintenance is carried out on all machines and other equipment to avoid major breakdown and monitor spare parts usage.
