    Generator Technician

    Job Role Summary

    • The successful candidate would be responsible for implementing and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment and systems pertaining to his field/area of specialization.
    • He performs the monthly Facility Inspection and submits all required reports to the Site Manager, as well as maintaining routine and required inspections of the relevant Systems.

    Job Duties

    • Carry out routine inspections and make modifications to IC engines, diesel generators, and associated equipment.
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and annunciator panels.
    • Perform load testing on units to identify possible problems and prevent wet stacking.
    • Make electrical and mechanical wiring modifications to diesel control circuits.
    • Rebuild and repair gas compressors (turbochargers) used for forced-induction of IC engines, head gaskets, seals, water pumps, catalytic converters, torque heads, belts and hoses.
    • Conduct automatic and manual transfer tests of simulated power outages to ensure generators are functioning properly.
    • Test batteries, fuel coolant, and oil; ship oil samples for analysis.
    • Basic electrical, mechanical, thermal, and hydraulic principles and practices.
    • Knowledge of Engine Control systems and other program logic controls that are associated with IC power generation.
    • Must have knowledge of Electrical and mechanical safety procedures.
    • Natural Fire Protections Codes, Lockout/tagout Procedures.
    • Good knowledge of IC Diesel and other gaseous IC engines.
    • Technique in tracking, transporting, and disposing hazardous materials.
    • Rigging standards and principles of safe and efficient methods for handling heavy objects.

    Qualifications

    • The ideal candidates should meet the above requirement and have at least an OND or its equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience in Electrical Installation.

    Electrical Technician

    Job Role Summary

    • The successful candidate would be responsible for implementing and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment and systems pertaining to his field/area of specialization.
    • He performs the monthly Facility Inspection and submits all required reports to the Site Manager, as well as maintaining routine and required inspections of the relevant Systems.

    Responsibilities

    • Able to maintain electrical control panels.
    • Must know and be able to follow processes of testing and inspecting of electrical equipment, control systems and installations.
    • Install, wire and connect electrical equipment and control system. Carry out repairs and corrective maintenance without need for rework.
    • Interprets and works from Technical plans and drawings.
    • Proffer effective solutions to identified or reported problems.
    • Troubleshoot and detect faults correctly and readily proffer right solutions.
    • Maintain a safe and clean environment during and after work.
    • Identify correct PPE to use for different tasks, wear prescribed PPE at all times required and keep these in good condition.
    • Know and follow processes for preventive maintenance of assigned equipment and carries this out with minimal supervision.
    • Able to identify and use the right tools appropriately. No record of missing or destroyed tools due to staff negligence.
    • Follow attendance policy as assigned by supervisor
    • Follow all rules, regulations and policies of organization and directives from superiors
    • Perform other functions as may be assigned by the department or supervisor

    Heating and Air Conditioning Technician

    Job Role Summary

    • The successful candidate would be responsible for implementing and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment and systems pertaining to his field/area of specialization.
    • He performs the monthly Facility Inspection and submits all required reports to the Site Manager, as well as maintaining routine and required inspections of the relevant Systems.

    Job Duties

    • Comply with all applicable standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area.
    • Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring, test electrical circuits and components for continuity, using electrical test equipment.
    • Inspect and test system to verify system compliance with plans and specifications and to detect and locate malfunctions.
    • Discuss heating-cooling system malfunctions with users to isolate problems or to verify that malfunctions have been corrected.
    • Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
    • Study blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturers recommendations to ascertain the configuration of heating or cooling equipment components and to ensure the proper installation of components.
    • Test pipe or tubing joints and connections for leaks, using pressure gauge or soap-and-water solution.
    • Adjust system controls to setting recommended by manufacturer to balance system, using hand tools.
    • Recommend, develop, and perform preventive and general maintenance procedures such as cleaning, power-washing and vacuuming equipment, oiling parts, and changing filters.
    • Install auxiliary components to heating-cooling equipment, such as expansion and discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues and stokers, following blueprints.
    • Install, connect, and adjust thermostats, humidistats and timers, using hand tools.

    Plumbers Electrician

    Job Role Summary

    • The successful candidate would be responsible for implementing and maintaining a Preventive Maintenance Program for all equipment and systems pertaining to his field/area of specialization.

    Job Duties

    • Assemble pipe sections, tubing and fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
    • Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.
    • Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
    • Prepare written work cost estimates and negotiate contracts.
    • Study building plans and inspect structures to assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
    • Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports.
    • Perform complex calculations and planning for special or very large jobs.
    • Locate and mark the position of pipe installations, connections, passage holes, and fixtures in structures, using measuring instruments such as rulers and levels.
    • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle, using hand and power tools or machines such as pipe cutters, pipe-threading machines, and pipe-bending machines.
    • Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers and water heaters, and fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand and power tools.
    • Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings, using hand and power tools.

    Qualifications

    • The ideal candidates should meet the above requirement and have at least an OND or its equivalent with a minimum of 5 years experience in Electrical Installation.
