    Head, Corporate Commercial

    Summary

    • The Head, Corporate Commercial will build and maintain strong communication channels with IHS current and potential customers, both externally and internally and also represent and promote IHS by maintaining a presence at professional events and networks.

    Personal Profile

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and advise on appropriate contracts and transactions in alignment with the Company’s business and growth plans;
    • Ensure that all contractual documents of the Company are in compliance with applicable laws, guideline, regulations and best practice;
    • Provide and interpret legal document/opinions/information;
    • Lead, deal with, and handle complex and significant legal matters that cut across the business segments of the Company;
    • Instruct, manage and support external counsel on legal matters that require external legal services (e.g. high value or complex deals and acquisitions);
    • Provide general legal support to other business segments of the Company;

    Competencies

    • Experienced in negotiating commercial contracts and demonstrate ability to handle and close commercial and legal negotiations with minimal supervision;
    • Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced and high-performing, business results-driven corporate environment;
    • Demonstrated ability to think and decide quickly, and to communicate legal issues and solutions clearly and concisely.

    Professional Qualifications

    • LLM in Commercial Law/ MBA;
    • 10+ years of corporate commercial law experience in leading law firms in the country and/or corporate legal department.

    Head, Revenue Management

    Summary

    The individual will manage the entire revenue management & assurance activities.

    Personal Profile 

    The Individual should have strong experience of revenue assurance and demonstrate experience and knowledge of revenue reconciliations plus hands on experience of contract compliances. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Liaise with other functional/departmental managers to understand all necessary aspects and needs of development, and to ensure they are fully informed of objectives, purposes and achievements
    • Ensure execution and follow up of sales coordination process in a customer friendly way
    • Develop SLA agreements between revenue assurance department and other departments
    • Brief and report to upper management about revenue and business processes related issues and challenges
    • Conduct frequent field and site visits to direct assessment of the tenancy
    • Attend senior management meetings
    • Ensure the efficiency of all applications like NAV, Intego and other applications or any tool related to revenue assurance
    • Contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the sector through performing own responsibilities and coordinating direct reports performance
    • Set the section’s goals and objectives and ensure the cascading of such to the direct reports' individual goals
    • Apply individual items of sector policies, procedures and processes and ensure adherence and implementation
    • Ensure the ongoing development of the section’s employees, and guide the activities of direct reports

     Competencies 

    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Practical experience and knowledge of Towers Infrastructure and Tenancy arrangements, alternatively general practical experience in communications industry
    • General understanding of TowerCo business and associated technical knowledge
    • Practical experience of processes documentation and SLAs
    • Demonstrate the processes mapping techniques and skills
    • Presentation skills, and hand on experience on MS Office tools
    • Sound knowledge of internal control environment and internal control framework (COSO)

    Professional Qualifications 

    • Master’s in Business Management or Finance, CPA, ACCA
    • Qualification in Revenue Assurance preferred
    • International experience and best practice preferred
    • Contract management qualification preferred
    • A minimum of Eight (8) years of experience in Revenue Assurance or a related field with at least Three (3) years in a manager role (note, RA is the main challenge, so someone coming from a billing/collection background without RA experience may not be considered)
    • Alternatively very senior manager function in a related field might be considered
    • Fluency in English and solid experience in presenting to Senior and Executive Management

    Network Engineer

    Summary 

    The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, organizing, modifying, installing, and supporting the company’s information technology network subsystem including but not limited to LANs, WANs. ISP, intranet systems and network segments.

    Personal Profile 

    The Individual must have the ability to prioritize and multitask; willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge. Excellent communications and interpersonal and presentation skills. 

    Responsibilities 

    • Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments and internet/ intranet systems.
    • Design and implementation of new network solutions and improving of the current environment.
    • Install and maintain network hardware and software.
    • Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
    • Determine network and system requirements.
    • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment and security.
    • Ensure network connectivity throughput the company’s LAN/ WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
    • Perform network IP address assignment and VLAN distribution
    • Assign routing, protocols and routing table configuration.
    • Capacity management and audit of IP addressing and hosted devices within data centers. 

     Competencies 

    • Hands on experience implementing and administering network devices, setting and maintaining policies and rights/security within the environment: CISCO, MCU, CISCO WLC and CISCO AP
    • Extensive skills designing, configuring and troubleshooting enterprise routing protocols, QoS policies and priority queuing and network flow management.
    • Good Visio Skills are required.

    Professional Qualifications

    • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or any other related discipline (NO EXCEPTION)
    • CCNP and or CCNP Certification
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in network design and support in Cisco networking environment, including expert knowledge of TCP/IP and working and hands on knowledge of routing and Ethernet switching IPv6 addressing and sub netting.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in firewall and network security solution: CISCO, ASA, ADS,IPS, filtering, CISCO VPN and cyberoam.

    Summary

    Competencies 

    • Alternatively senior manager function in a related field might be considered.
    • International or experience in a MNC strong plus
    • Telecommunication or Audit/Consultancy firm (Big 4) in the field of Assurance strongly preferred
    • Contract Management experience strong plus
    • Billing invoicing and collections are a plus
    • Customer (Relationship) Management is a plus
    • Fluency in English and solid experience presenting to Senior and Executive Management
