    Divisional Chief Executive Officer

    Reporting to the Group Managing Director and accountable to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the Mobile Financial Services department with a mandate to build the largest mobile financial services product in Africa. A major focus will be to drive the total achievement of IFIS’s corporate goals by formulating and implementing the Agency Banking Business Strategy in alignment with the Company’s business model, as well as developing and managing the implementation of sales strategies to meet and exceed target projections.     Head, Business Development

    Reporting to the Divisional CEO, the successful candidate will support business growth across all solutions and the achievement of IFIS revenue targets by articulating and managing the delivery of an effective sales plan. A key component of this role will be to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the sales team and ensure sales and service targets are continuously achieved to deliver business results. The role oversees both Corporate and Consumer segments of the business. Key responsibilities will be to:

    • Support the Divisional CEO in budget preparation and champion the delivery of the team’s budget.
    • Provide insights to the Divisional CEO to support the development of the Sales strategic plan and execution approach.
    • Oversee the generation of relevant market intelligence and feed this to the Divisional CEO towards crafting effective strategies to    improve product market share.
    • Report all team activities on budget allocation and execution to the Divisional CEO.
    • Promptly flag off any risk or compliance issues likely to affect sales opportunities (existing/potential).

    Head, Service Delivery

    This role will report to the Divisional CEO and will support business growth by coordinating the delivery of solutions and services to customers within agreed time frames and to quality standards. As the key service delivery officer, he/she will develop and drive implementation of policies, procedures, and standards to support the delivery of exceptional service to customers. Key responsibilities will be to:

    • Lead and direct the project management and project implementation teams to deliver customer focused services in line with customer    specification.
    • Review updates on project activities and ensure implementation is in line with agreed standard and timeline.
    • Provide guidance and leadership on project management activities, ensuring timely resolution of crises and disputes, unresolved cases    (support issues), technical problems etc.

    Unit Head, Program Management and Delivery

    Reporting to the Head, Service Delivery, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing and tracking all IFIS projects from initiation to completion to ensure timeliness are met within stipulated budget. Key responsibilities will be to:

    • Obtain award letters from customer/sales team and prepares Project Initiation Documents (PID) based on the agreement.
    • Develop project plans.
    • Communicate with project stakeholders by sending updates/reports to them on the progress of the work.
    • Prepare and send weekly status report to Group Head and customers on on-going projects.
    • Responsible for project issues management, escalation management and change management.
    • Follow up on internal and external dependencies required for project delivery to ensure timely delivery on projects.
    • Manage Project Close- out by preparing Project Acceptance Certificate (PAC) to customers to sign off accepting the project had been    completed.

    Key Requirements
    • A first degree or its equivalent in Computer / Systems / Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science or other    disciplines.
    • Possession of professional qualifications e.g. ITIL, Prince2, PMP will be an advantage.
    • A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in similar capacity.

    Unit Head, Payment Processing and Technology Operations

    Reporting to the Head, Service Delivery, the successful candidate will contribute to the effective provision of switching services and transmission of accurate transaction data to and from IFIS customers by ensuring that appropriate disbursements and reconciliations are effected. Key responsibilities will be to:

    • Supervise the generation of daily net settlement position computation break down.
    • Approve and ensure the processing of daily network member net settlement positions via the Nigeria Inter Bank Settlement System    portal.
    • Ensure Settlement report Script/Template Management (Creation, Modification and Enhancement) is effectively run on a timely basis.
    • Facilitate reconciliation support for stakeholders (Banks).
    • Facilitate the network switched transaction revenue assurance, analysis and reporting for Management.
    • Supervise Collateral Management activities (T-Bills).
    • Update and upgrade processes and their resulting documentation and communication to customers.

    Key Requirements
    • A first degree in Sciences and Engineering from a reputable university.
    • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a supervisory role.
    • Knowledge of all Interswitch products.
    • Card Scheme Operation principles and procedures (Visa, Verve, MC, CUP, Discover).
    • Proprietary application management (Interswitch settlement Caesar).

    Unit Head, Infrastructure and Technology Services

    Reporting to the Head, Service Delivery, the successful candidate will design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure IFIS’s infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements with 100% uptime. A key function will be to design, code, test, analyse and manage software programs and applications that drive the IFIS’s strategy, product owners and third-party business. Key responsibilities will be to:

    • Advice and informs management, departments and unit members on technical issues as part of the decision making process for    technical direction and procurement of new systems.
    • Assist with the planning and deployment of infrastructure security measures.
    • Define hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
    • Ensure the integrity of IFIS’s electronically held information by performing regular reviews and testing of the back-up systems, disaster    recovery planning and input into the Business Continuity plan where appropriate.
    • Test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
    • Develop strategies for maintaining network infrastructure.
    • Provide inputs to Business continuity and disaster recovery plans with respect to infrastructural implications.
    • Analyse research findings and make recommendations on products, services, protocols, and standards in support of all infrastructure    procurement and development efforts.
    • Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems, including LANs, WANs,    Internet, intranet, security, wireless implementations, etc.
    • Oversee the database platforms upon which applications are deployed in order to service customers effectively.
    • Manage operational costs; conduct near- and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality/user base.
    • Conduct feasibility studies for various upgrade projects, improvements, and other conversions.
    • Define hardware and software standards in conjunction with owners and stakeholders.
    • Provide reliable, scalable and cost-effective cloud computing resources upon which the rest of the organisation can buy/rent and host    applications.

    Key Requirements
    • A good first degree or its equivalent in Computer / System / Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Science or    other related disciplines. Possession of a master’s degree or an MBA will be an advantage.

    Head, Network Operations

    Reporting to the Divisional CEO, the successful candidate will be responsible for steering all IFIS agent Network Operations. Specifically, he/she will ensure that the IFIS operations provides world class service delivery to its agents, merchants, banks and MMO/Telco partners and onward to end-users. Key responsibilities will be to:

    • Ensure that the IFIS system gets the best hosting; service management; service improvement and infrastructure development attention.
    • Deliver high quality stakeholder communications and reporting concerning the performance of the technical operation and the    management of operational relationships with key IFIS Nigeria customers.
    • Responsible for the compliance of the local IFIS platform with recognised industry standards including ISO27001, PCI-DSS and SAS70.
    • Ensure the system is granted class-leading governance in ICT Security and fraud management as well as high quality risk management.
    • Oversee a number of other key supplies including relationships with providers of the following services: end user call centre, local data centre, device testing, outsourced platform owner and SMS aggregation.

    • A minimum of six (6) years’ experience managing cross-functional teams in the Business Development and/or Operations of an MMO or    Bank.

    Unit Head, Agent Management and Operations

    Reporting to the Head, Network Operations, the successful candidate will ensure uninterrupted running of the back-end operations of IFIS. He/she will be responsible for managing agents across regions, monitoring transaction ticket volumes, as well as ensuring effective back-end operations at call centres. Key responsibilities will be to:

    • Ensure the call centre works well (needed software and hardware, info forwarding to FSS and appropriate units for action) whilst also    projecting the Organization’s brand image in every customer interaction.
