    Job description

    To take a medium term approach to developing business opportunities within new and existing markets. To establish relationships with stake holders and gain as much competitive advantage as possible. To provide the sales teams with very high probability of awards for them to conclude.  

    • Sources business opportunities across allocated markets
    • Develops strategies to secure business to new and existing markets
    • To ensure that project pipeline remains optimized for continuous project business growth
    • To ensure that project awards meet or exceed budgets assigned to market
    • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
    • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
    • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.

    Requirements

    • 8-10 years of Sales/Commercial/Business Development experience in Energy Industry with proven track record in developing business and generating new opportunities pipeline, resulting in orders closure
    • Bachelors degree, technical discipline may be advantageous
    • Have "hands-on" approach on Power & Utility sector and be prepared to generate actionable partnership ideas without significant direction
    • Good knowledge of customer economics, with ability to identify and develop new business solutions in Power generation
    • Experience in customer exposure at executive level in power generation or other industrial equipment industries

    Transit Officer

    Job description

    • Actively participate in Air/Land/Sea freighting and customs clearing operations
    • Make sure that all materials cleared by the Customs are promptly delivered to the reception/warehouse without delay and follow up on clearing agents.
    • Work in collaboration with relevant local and foreign authorities for the provision of stacking spaces prior to the arrival of cargo
    • Liaise effectively with government agencies (e.g. Customs) in the effort to secure relevant permits, approvals and shipping documentation for the Freight Forwarding function
    • Participate in the management of main freight forwarding contract
    • Ensure that all customs clearing transactions are properly documented for easy accessibility during material and personal effects shipping
    • Arrange, direct and supervise local transportation of materials across company locations and assist Technical Logistics to ensure that guidelines on the deliveries of Local Purchases of Materials are enforced
    • Ensure of the conformity of packaging as required.
    • Ensure an efficient container and truck tracking system with all parties

    Requirements

    • Minimum university degree in any related discipline
    • At least 2 - 3 years experience in handling cargo and freight forwarding.
    • Excellent freight forwarding background (2-3 years)
    • Computer literacy skills 1.e proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office
    • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
    • Able to remain calm and work in high pressure situations

    Buyer/Expeditor Mechanical

    Job description

    The Buyer/Expeditor position will be responsible to proactively receive specifications, qualify suppliers, source and supply competitive bids to meet quality and specification requirements.

    • Receive generic specifications and source competitive bids from qualified suppliers that meet the Specification, quality, budgetary and schedule requirements.
    • Work according to company’s Business Principles & Ethics and Code of Business Conduct of being reliable, trustworthy and fair.

    • Investigate delayed payment problems with accounting personnel and various districts to exchange information and correct errors
    • Provide information regarding status of purchase orders and answer telephone call and communicate with vendors and sales team to exchange information and explain district procedures and policies.
    • Responsible for the promotion of Company safety, environment and quality policies and programs, carrying out specific HSE duties and responsibilities.

    Senior Buyer - Mechanical

    Job description

    The holder of this position will facilitate the procurement of materials; structure, piping/fittings, package and related services required by the company. This position will oversee the materials/planning function and will have sole ownership of material flow, long term supply contracts, supplier negotiation, and production floor planning/scheduling. This will include responsibility for profitability, inventory levels, capacity planning, on-time shipment, and cost control. Will collaborate closely with Sales and Business Operations within the assigned Divisions to support the company's overall growth plan.

    • Negotiate contracts for the procurement of required materials; structure, piping/fittings, package and services from approved suppliers.
    • Establish strategies to improve supply chain, solve shortage issues and strengthen supplier relationships
    • Obtain materials, components and equipment, as required by the production schedule
    • Plan, schedule, monitor the movement of materials through the development, prototype and production cycle
    • Expedite orders as necessary. Identify actual and potential delivery problems and take proactive steps to inform appropriate personnel
    • Establish and maintain relations with suppliers and appropriate representatives and direct and procure supplier technical and operating expertise as required to internal customer
    • Maintain an awareness of materials and procurement concepts
    • Develop written procedures for routine job responsibilities and keep them current
    • Identify problem areas and offer possible solutions
    • Complete special assignments for the Materials department as directed by the Materials Manager
    • Track progress of parts to ensure time schedules and delivery to Systems
    • Work with engineering on new product introductions, including early supplier involvement
    • Implement improvement processes to reduce inventory and non-value added work
    • Perform supplier audits, supplier selection and ongoing rating
    • Continually assess market conditions which may affect procurement and recommend procurement and materials management strategy changes
    • Control incoming freight and handling costs
    • Monitors, analyzes, and reports material variances to standard cost. Interfaces with Accounting, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production to establish standard costs.
    • Responsible for optimizing material costs through vendor analysis, quality, schedule, cost evaluation, etc. Applies cost effective measures as related to support standard cost and make/buy decisions.

    • A minimum of 8 years experience in a similar position
