    Commercial Legal Advisor

     

    Job description    

    •     Review legal cases, petitions and internal matters requiring legal input /perspective, consult with all relevant parties, advise on
    •     case/petition/legal related matter, provide recommendation on course of action and effectively take appropriate and approved
    •     action in accordance with the rules and regulations of MTNN.
    •     Draft legal agreements and review all relevant documentation supporting contracts for authenticity and validity, reviewing
    •     commercial agreements and documentations of transactions.
    •     Conduct proactive prevention of litigation, ensuring Legal processes and services are effective and efficient in line with defined
    •     and approved design and rules.
    •     Ensure continuous liaison with External Solicitors for regular updates, compliance with procedural rules of court, stipulated time
    •     limits for actions, etc., so as to minimize the cost and adverse effect of litigation.
    •     Administer controls to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and effectively integrate ethics, compliance
    •     and preventive law efforts, ensuring MTNN activities are compliant with laid down laws and governing regulations/statutes.
    •     Settle legal issues between MTNN and 3rd parties, assisting in managing liquidations and disputes.
    •     Carry out legal (administrative) services work including liaison/correspondence with external bodies and organizations,
    •     structuring and negotiating commercial transactions.
    •     Prepare monthly management reports.

    Job condition    

    •     Travel – local and international

    Experience:

    •     4 years of litigation and commercial drafting experience in a reputable law firm or as proprietor
    •     Civil/commercial litigation experience.
    •     Knowledge of telecommunications environment will be an advantage.
    •     Commercial/technical and/or further legal qualification will be an advantage
    •     Experience in handling and negotiating funding
    •     In depth experience and understanding of the Nigerian framework

    Training:

    •     Basic GSM technology
    •     Contract drafting and negotiation skills

    Customer Knowledge Analyst

     

    Job description    

    • Interface with financial analysts and business units to understand their data requirements and reporting needs
    • Liaise with product management managers to understand the data needed to support and monitor product performance
    • Contribute and participate in campaign idea generation meetings and cross functional Customer Lifecycle Management meeting as required
    • Develop and utilize data collection instruments and methods for the evaluation and quality control of research or operational data.
    • Collect, analyze, interpret, and summarize data in preparation for generation of statistical and analytical reports and provide intelligence that supports decision-making.
    • Coordinate data requests with respect to pre and post return on investment data extraction, data sample for analytics, and other ad-hoc requirements.
    • Perform Customer Lifecycle Management data analysis and requests.
    • Maintain computerized collection and track relevant data and appropriate records of research methods and results.
    • Utilize specified statistical software to analyze and interpret research data, as appropriate to the individual position.
    • Extract qualifying data, based on defined campaigns and according to the approved campaign road map as well as manage and update engine room tools.
    • Demonstrate broad understanding of Big Data end-to-end ecosystem and dependencies to identify trends in customer dynamics
    • Provide support to campaign segmentation analyst as required

    Job condition    

    • Normal MTNN working conditions
    • May be required to work extended hours

    Experience:
    • 4 years’ experience comprising:
    • Experience and working knowledge of data mining/ analysis using statistical analytical system( SAS), problem solving and reporting/presentation
    • Experience in the telecommunications industry is desirable

    Minimum qualification    

    • BSc
