Job Description

• Our MIG Welder will carry out the task of measuring, cutting, and assembling metal projects using an electric arc and inert gas.
• Furthermore, you would be responsible for ensuring the work area is safe, preparing metal surfaces, determining gas ratios, and inspecting weld strength during and after the welding process.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and mark work pieces using straightedges, rules, and calipers
• Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings in order to lay out a welding project
• Operate forklifts/cranes and use them in conveying work materials to welding site
• Collaborate with project managers and welding supervisors to ensure smooth work operations
• Maintain welding safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment
• Carry out welding according to set dimensions to meet general test requirements
• Organize and clean welding equipment on a regular basis
• Monitor inventory level of materials to notify supervisor of stock shortage
• Weld materials in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
• Adjust gas gauges to set the flow rate of shield gas
• Use measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to inspect angles, grooves or gap allowances
• Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications.
• Preparing metals and work surfaces to ensure safe and effective assemblage.
• Interpreting specifications and blueprints accurately.
• Regularly cleaning and inspecting welding equipment and tools.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an OND, HND or B.Sc qualification with at least 3 years work experience

Job Description

• The accounts officer at Buckler Ordnance Systems Limited oversees and monitors the overall company budget and expenditure (CAPEX, OPEX), the cash flow and other ongoing financial transactions.
• You are responsible for accurate bookkeeping, inventory, payrolling, tax administration, financial reporting and its metrics, according to our internal financial system, the Nigerian Financial regulations and to the IFRS standards.
• You will keep precise records of incoming and outgoing payments for the company as well as verify accounts payable and receivable.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages an accurate financial administration (creditors, debtors, salary administration, ledgers) and monitors the cash flow, goods flow, accounts, and other financial transactions accurately.
• Creates and manages the Chart of Accounts.
• Develops control polices and processes.
• Prepares estimates, invoices and purchase orders.
• Responsible for the preparation of Monthly and Annual budgets.
• Analyzes financial discrepancies and ensures all discrepancies are discussed and resolved with the concerned department.
• Reports unsolved discrepancies to the Line Manager.
• Ensures all invoices for OPEX and CAPEX (goods, services, utilities and investments) are coded and booked accurately.
• Ensures the invoices are controlled and approved by the line management, before processing in the bookkeeping system.
• Sets up a monthly report.
• Posts all expenses and receivables daily.
• Prepares monthly management and accounting reports.
• Maintains and updates product/service list and pricing on QuickBooks.
