• A leading investment holding is looking for a VP: Finance to lead the Company’s finance function, with full responsibility for financial accounting, reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, procurement, compliance, and risk management, ensuring accurate reporting to management and the Board.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee financial control, policies, and internal governance.
• Lead financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts).
• Manage liquidity, treasury, and financial risk.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Improve financial processes, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Lead, develop, and manage a high-performing finance team.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, advisers, and consultants.

Functions Under Management

• Financial Accounting, Reporting, FP&A, AR/AP, Intercompany, Treasury & Investments, Tax, Procurement, Insurance.

Requirements

• 10+ years’ experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in financial control, reporting, FP&A, treasury, and/or tax.
• Solid IFRS knowledge and experience in operational finance.
• Experience leading finance teams and working with ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA an advantage).
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• ACA/ACCA required; MBA, MSc, or CFA an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct deep strategic reviews of business units and categories
• Deliver rigorous market, competitor and pricing analyses
• Build financial and strategic cases for expansion into new markets or adjacencies
• Identify margin, cost and operational improvement opportunities
• Evaluate new product and channel opportunities to accelerate growth
• Contribute to synergy capture and integration across portfolio companies
• Lead diagnostic work across supply chain, manufacturing or distribution
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and reporting rhythms to strengthen accountability
• Benchmark internal capabilities against consumer/PE-backed global peers
• Support portfolio performance reviews and strategic prioritisation
• Analyse cross-portfolio capability requirements and scale opportunities
• Contribute to operating model development and process codification, including tech‑enabled improvements

Candidate Requirements

• 4–8 years’ experience in strategy consulting, private equity, portfolio operations or scaling organisations
• Strong analytical skills; comfort navigating ambiguity
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Execution-focused, resourceful and adaptable to fast‑paced environments
• Experience in consumer goods is helpful but not required
