    Engineer - WorkPack (Piping)

    Purpose/Role

    • The Piping Workpack Engineer is responsible for the technical integrity of all construction Work Pack deliverables.

    Key Aims and Objectives
    To interface with Design Team to ensure that the applicable legislation and standards are applied across all aspects of design delivery to the project. These include:

    • Company procedures and process, client codes and standards,
    • HSE Regulations and EU Directives.
    • Authoring, production, compilation and checking of Construction Workpacks, including Jobcards.

    Prime Responsibilities and Duties

    • To interface with and ensure that the cross discipline Engineer, Construction, Commissioning, Safety, Maintenance and Operational requirements are for within all Workpacks.
    • To meet the requirements of the agreed schedule identified within the project plan for all Workpack deliverables.
    • To provide technical assurance to the project that previous lessons learned have been captured and incorporated into the current design.
    • To provide technical assurance to the project that all aspects of the Scope Of Work (SOW) and Statement Of Requirement (SOR) have been fully addressed within each Workpack, identifying and raising with relevant design disciplines any additions and/or changes if required.
    • To provide technical approval of all Piping Workpacks deliverables. Interface with Design and Construction Teams to optimize build sequence and commissioning sequence.
    • Interface with Construction Team to ensure all items required for construction readiness are clearly identified within the Workpack.
    • Identify appropriate resources for Workpack engineering in accordance with agreed project plans.
    • To report progress against project plans noting any areas of concern and identifying corrective actions.
    • Responsible for any addendums and updates / modifications, growth etc. to the workpacks.

    Other Duties:

    • To provide technical, ethical, professional leadership and support and mentoring to project colleagues.
    • To respect colleagues, clients and sub-contractors at all levels, dealing with any dispute or conflict in a professional and personable manner.
    • Any other reasonable duties as specified by Team Lead.

    Job Requirements
    Reports:

    • Weekly man-hour reports and keeping Workpack tracking spreadsheet up to date.

    Key Internal Interfaces:

    • Engineering, Project Management Team, Construction Team, Planning and DCC.

    The Person
    Technical / Business Skills:

    • Good understanding of construction requirements.
    • Experience using Microsoft office.
    • Articulate with good verbal and written communication skills.

    Interpersonal Skills:

    • Able to work with a large construction support team.
    • Ability to work unsupervised as part of a team
    • Able to work to tight deadlines.
    • Able to demonstrate previous experience in similar construction positions within a construction phase of a project based contract.
    • Previous experience of estimating and compiling construction work packs.

    Competencies:

    • Trade qualifications and associated competencies working within the oil and gas industry.

    Educational Attainments:

    • Minimum of a recognised trade qualification.

    Officer - HSE (Trainee)

    Job Purpose

    • Provide Project HSE support to our client on all Construction Projects.

    Key Aims and Objectives

    • Understand and ensure the Project HSE Plan (PHSEP) is effectively implemented and meets set performance standard;
    • Conduct regular HSE inspections with, and discuss all site specific HSE issues with the HSE coordinator on a continual basis;
    • Ensure that equipment and systems formally meet the relevant safety standards;
    • Ensure that the company's HSE policies are complied with;
    • Promote highest HSE standards at all times;
    • Promote HSE culture within the project team;
    • Follow JNL best practice for HSE management;
    • Report HSE issues to the HSE coordinator;
    • Take emergency action if necessary to prevent risk of injury;
    • Ensure site's compliance with all JNL policies, processes and procedures.

    Prime Responsibilities and Duties

    • Ensure company systems and processes are complied with;
    • Monitor the relevant areas of work for HSE compliance and bring any significant findings to the attention of the HSE coordinator and responsible manager;
    • Assist the relevant project team on HSE matters;
    • Develop improved relationships with clients;
    • Ensure all accident and incident investigations are carried out with all actions followed up and completed;
    • Attend HSE meetings and communicate findings on site;

    • Assist in implementing field location emergency response procedures and evacuation plans;
    • Ensure that employees, contractors and site visitors receive HSE inductions for project operations;
    • Through investigation and follow-up of accidents and incidents;

    • Ensure safe management of work / lifting equipment;
    • Promote health and safety on the site at all times;
    • Understand the site PHSEP and monitor performance;
    • Ensure that equipment and systems formally meet the relevant safety standards;
    • Ensure an HSE file for the overall project so that the safety files are prepared and maintained for each work package;
    • Ensure adequate HSE monitoring and supervision of subcontractors activities are in place;
    • Ensure all site's activities and contractors have required safe system of work in place and that they represent the most effective solution in terms of HSE.
    • Implement HSE risk management process for the site;monitor residual risk, assist in the identification of new risk, and the execution of risk reduction plans.

    Job Requirements
    Person:

    • IT literate, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.;
    • 2 years or more of construction experience and a member of recognized professional body (IOSH, NISP etc.);
    • Minimum of recognized Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH Construction Certificate) is desirable;

    Supervisor - Fitting

    Responsibilities

    • Reading and interpretation of schematic drawings of pipe systems, isometric sketches, combination drawings, construction drawings and isometric view drawings.
    • Arrangement and performing pressure testing as specified on the drawings and/or in the pressure test instructions after welding.
    • Execution of dimension control on pipe systems and checking if all accessories and fittings in the pipe system are mounted.
    • Knowledge of using hoisting tooling and flushing unit knowledge of pipe system specifications, technical and safety standards is required
    • Capable of using equipment and tools for Pipe fitting, as well as for steel construction in general.
    • Responsible for the execution and application of the HSE procedures within his work area.
    • Should have good communication skills and report writing abilities.
    • Should have vase experience in fitting with good supervisory qualities.

    Requirements/Qualifications

    • SSCE & Vocational Trade test grade 1 & 2 certificate
    • Must have worked on a structural fitting project.
    • Working experience on an EPC project will be an additional advantage
    • Relevant trade test(s) and SSCE. Higher qualifications are added advantages.
    • Above 10 years in major Oil & Gas EPC projects, must possess vast Knowledge in the fabrication industry.
    • Safety certificate (general) and other safety certification will be an added advantage.

    Welder - 3G/4G

    Prime Responsibilities and Duties

    • Ability to weld all position of welding such as 3G, 4G, 6G & 6GR on SMAW/FCAW on both plate and pipe.
    • Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences.
    • Welding spare parts in various directions: flat, horizontal, vertical or overhead, etc.;
    • Supervising and identifying any fault in operating the equipment or in relation to any material or equipment, then notifying the supervisors;
    • Clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, or grinding spare parts as necessary to satisfy the technical requirements and create a welded final product;
    • Operating other accessory equipments and performing some tasks necessary for welding metal, such as fusing metal segments, using gas tungsten arc, metal arc, flux-cored arc, and other types of welding arcs;
    • Examining finish products and spare parts and comparing them with samples to check whether the specifications are met;
    • Being in charge of preparing and setting up necessary tools and equipments for welding job such as shielded metal arc, gas metal arc or other welding equipments

    Fitter 1 - Structural

    Prime Responsibilities

    • Ability to understand and interpret simple and complex structural fabrication drawing.
    • Ability to use all fabrication /Fitting equipment and instrument
    • Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.
    • Locate and mark work piece bending and cutting lines, allowing for stock thickness, machine and welding shrinkage, and other component specifications.
    • Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications, using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes
    • Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials requirements and task sequences

    Job Requirements

    • Relevant trade test(s) and SSCE. Higher qualifications are added advantages.
    • 5- 8 years minimum working experience in the fabrication field.
    • Trade Test Certification. 1&2 labour & productivity or Engineering background.
    • Good safety practices i.e.  Understanding of HSE.

    Graduate Assistant - Fitter

    Purpose/Role

    • To ensure proper housekeeping and management of cables and ensure work areas are kept safe and tidy.
    • Assist fitters in basic tasks.

    • Ability to identify fittings & materials.
    • Conversant with abbreviations, signs & codes.
    • Good safety practices i.e. Understanding of HSE.
    • Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, P & IDS.
    • Ability to understand and interpret simple and complex pipe fabrication drawing
    • Years of Experience. 4years and above.
