UI/UX Designer at Uwana Energy

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled Contract UI/UX Designer to revamp both the public-facing website and private (authenticated) user dashboards of uwanaconnect.com. The ideal candidate will deliver intuitive, user-centred designs that enhance usability, accessibility, and overall product experience across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Redesign Platform Interfaces: Redesign and improve the UI/UX of public and private web pages, including dashboards and authenticated user flows.
• User-Centred Design: Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups based on user needs and business goals.
• Consistency & Accessibility: Ensure visual consistency, usability, and accessibility standards across the platform.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to deliver implementation-ready designs.
• Design Optimisation: Review existing designs and recommend improvements that enhance engagement, conversion, and usability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on experience, with 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX or product design.
• Proven experience designing modern web applications, platforms, or dashboards
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX redesign or product design projects
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar
• Solid understanding of UX principles, usability testing, and responsive design
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines
