Role Description

• The Treasury Sales Specialist is a full-time role responsible for driving sales and adoption of treasury and cash management solutions for corporate, SME, and institutional clients. This hybrid position is based in Nigeria, with a mix of on-site client engagement and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day activities include identifying client treasury needs, structuring appropriate cash management and liquidity solutions, preparing proposals, and leading product presentations. The role involves managing a sales pipeline, negotiating terms in line with risk and compliance standards, and collaborating with internal teams such as product, finance, and operations to ensure smooth implementation. The Treasury Sales Specialist will monitor portfolio performance, track market trends, and provide ongoing relationship management and advisory support to deepen client engagement.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Treasury Management and Treasury Services for developing and selling appropriate solutions.
• Candidates should possess solid Cash Management skills to support transaction banking, liquidity optimization, and payment solutions.
• Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills for evaluating client needs, pricing products, and assessing financial performance.
• Candidates should possess foundational Finance knowledge to interpret financial statements and understand banking products and risk.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACT, CFA, CIBN) are an advantage.
• Proven experience in treasury sales, transaction banking, or corporate banking, preferably within Nigeria or similar markets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Comfort with digital tools, CRM systems, and fintech-driven solutions; high ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance.
