    Ticketing Agent

    Description

    • Are you an experienced Ticketing Agent with a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences? Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join their team.
    • As a Ticketing Agent, you will be responsible for managing flight reservations, issuing and reissuing tickets, handling itinerary changes, and providing excellent customer service to clients.
    • The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of airline reservation systems, fare rules, and travel documentation while ensuring seamless travel arrangements for customers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Book, issue, reissue, and cancel domestic and international flight tickets.
    • Handle flight reservations and itinerary modifications.
    • Advise clients on the best flight options, fares, and travel routes.
    • Process refunds, exchanges, and ticket revalidation in accordance with airline policies.
    • Ensure accuracy of all travel bookings and documentation.
    • Provide prompt and professional customer support before, during, and after ticket issuance.
    • Stay updated on airline schedules, fare changes, travel regulations, and visa requirements.
    • Resolve ticketing issues and customer complaints efficiently.
    • Maintain accurate booking records and prepare periodic reports.
    • Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure excellent service delivery.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Ticketing Agent in a Travel and Tours Agency.
    • Strong knowledge of airline ticketing procedures and fare rules.
    • Proficiency in GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
    • Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
    • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
    • Professional certifications in airline ticketing or travel management will be an added advantage.
