    Trader / Dealer

    Job Description

    • Trade within the fixed income market with a focus on Nigeria’s debt market.
    • Make markets for clients including Pension Fund Administrators, Insurance Firms and Asset Managers.
    • Strong understanding of investment strategies and risk management.
    • Conduct market research to generate actionable trade ideas.
    • Construct analytical models using fundamental and technical analysis.
    • Work with the trading team to improve performance and delivery of service to clients.
    • ACI Dealing Certificate.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
    • Good understanding of debt markets with a sound approach to technical and fundamental analysis.
    • Proven experience in investment and financial assets management.
    • A solid understanding of financial markets.
    • Must be proactive and can take initiatives and think “out of the box”.
    • Efficient and goal oriented.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification
    • Minimum of 2 years experience as a dealer in a Trading/Asset Management firm.
    • Daily and periodic reporting on the investment positions and outlook.
    • Able to work within a team.
    • Able to prioritise competing commitments and work accurately under pressure.
    • Strong competence of Microsoft Office including Excel.
    • Knowledge of Bloomberg LP is advantageous.
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

    Credit Officer

    Job Description

    • Facilitate business growth through the sales of products across, personal, business, and co-operative clients.
    • Explain different loan options available to clients.
    • Identify and prospect clients through market segmentation with a focus on an industry and/or sub segment applying a narrowed focus to client acquisition.
    • Establish, develop, and manage a strong pipeline and network of clients for our products/services.
    • Cross-sell customised products and services with the objective of meeting clients’ unique needs to achieve financial objectives.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide quality services.
    • Foster beneficial and long-term relationships with new and existing clients to retain and attract new businesses.
    • Employ a variety of means to keep abreast of industry trends and company product knowledge.
    • Deliver increasing deposit portfolio performance and provide regular reports.
    • Develop customised on-boarding options and solutions for clients to suit their individualized needs.
    • Determining whether prospective customers are creditworthy, developing credit scoring models, authorizing, and refusing loans, negotiating payment arrangements, and revising the business' credit policy.
    • Assess clients’ financial status, and conduct a thorough loan analysis to ascertain customer’s payment capacity and willingness to repay loan.
    • Maintain updated records of loan applications, and manage client database.
    • Monitor progress of existing loans.
    • Must have in-depth knowledge of credit analysis and be an expert with accounting software.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline.

    • 2 years work experience as a Credit Officer, Loan Officer, or similar role.

    IT & Project Manager

    Job Description

    • Candidate will have responsibility for managing the company’s IT function to ensure that IT fully supports business objectives and the company derives a maximum return on its IT investment.
    • The candidate will manage information technology infrastructure resources and computer systems, plan, organize, controls and evaluate IT and electronic data operations.
    • Ideal candidate will lead the design, specification, configuration, installation and maintenance of local area network hardware, software, and telecommunication services and internet service providers.
    • He /She will design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
    • The candidate must ensure security of data, network access and backup systems. He must be able to preserve assets, information security and control structures.
    • Responsible for IT Contracts and Vendor Management.
    • Responsible for change management around IT implementations and upgrades.
    • Provides technical consulting services where required.
    • Manages Projects and Infrastructures in area of responsibility.
    • Manages the relationship between service providers and the company, including negotiations, contractualization, service and support (SLAs).
    • Running regular checks on network and data security.
    • Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure.
    • Designing training programs and workshops for staff.
    • Conducting regular system audits.
    • Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff.
    • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT.
    • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
    • Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget.
    • Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Science or Computer Science.
    • At least 2 years post-qualification IT operations experience.
    • Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network & systems administration, databases, data storage systems.
    • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
    • Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices.
