Verify and ensure proper functioning of all components of the machines and auxiliary
Operate the machine in accordance with the established standard operating procedure and speed targets.
Ensure material wastages from machine are kept at minimum acceptable level
Report all malfunctions and constraints to the line Technical Supervisor
Apply all company provided protective wears and gadgets and comply with all Health and Safety rules
Carry out recommended maintenance as per checklist to ensure equipment reliability
Ensure acceptable level of cleanliness in dressing and immediate work area in line with good house keeping practice
Avoid cross contamination of product due to unhygienic state of equipment
Implement change-over programs as per production schedule.
Requirements
The candidate should possess a First Degree or its equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Membership in NSE and COREN certification is an added advantage.
The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years ofjob-relevant experience in a well-structured FMCG (bottling) company, specifically with expertise in Krones Machines.
As a qualified Civil/Structural Engineer with relevant experience, you will be responsible for contributing towards the preparation of Civil/Structural Designs and deliverables for basic/conceptual, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Engineering Design (DED) according to specifications, and other civil/structural Engineering duties.
Key Functions / Responsibilities
Carryout out Civil/Structural Engineering design and other deliverables for feasibility studies, conceptual/basic engineering, FEED and DED.
Prepare Civil/structural concrete and Steel Design calculations
Prepare of a fit-for-purpose steel and concrete detailed drawings.
Carry out design of Foundations for equipment, shelters, pipe supports/Piperack, platforms, etc.
Prepare of Concrete and Steel technical specifications.
Prepare material take-offs and Tender documents.
Ability to interpret Geotechnical and Topographical reports for a fit-for- purpose foundation design.
Perform inter-discipline design checks
Visits site for approvals, verification and as-built documentation.
Adhere to the Scope of Work (SoW) and the prepared Master Document Register as it concerns Civil/structural discipline.
Requirements
B.Eng in Civil / Structural Engineering.
Minimum 3 years experience in similar role.
Civil/Structural engineering expertise and competency in Basic Design, FEED and Detailed design.
Excellent use of Engineering Softwares such as SACS, STAAD.Pro, Tekla, Robot Structural, Revit Structural, AutoCAD.
Conversant with National and International Codes, Standards and Engineering Practices used in the industry AISC, ACI, API-RP2A, Eurocodes and other international standards and company codes
