Job Description

• Technical operations Officer design, control, and manage the technical process and operational integrity of technological services provided by an organization. They coordinate the operational aspects of a technical process to ensure smooth running of operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to operators as it regards to report writing and solving technical issues on site.
• Provide guidance on issues bordering on technical operations.
• Draft and design Plan Work / Job Schedules for Operators / Technical Team and site deployment.
• Ensure generator spare parts are maintained and stored effectively.
• Monitor installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair work conducted by operators on sites.
• Hiring technical personnel needed on customer sites.
• Manage teams of technicians / Operators in a supervisory capacity and travel into the field to oversee workers and conduct inspections on completed and or ongoing work orders to ensure that all policies and standards have been followed and that the customer’s needs are met.
• Perform regular inspections of tools, service vehicles, and equipment used by the company and replace items that do not meet quality standards as needed.
• Visit sites to oversee and coordinate the activities of all the sites and ensure compliance to safety regulations.
• Set objectives for technical operations as well as implement action plans necessary for achieving set targets.
• Ensure the provision of technical equipment and materials required for operations.
• Ensure technical equipment and machinery are operational and efficient.
• Prepare and implement budget for technical operations in order to achieve set objectives.
• Develop and implement HSE policies to ensure a risk-free and safe work condition.

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must have 3 - 5 years experience as a Site Operator working on gas or diesel engines
• Must be sound and intelligent
• Good report writing skills
• Must live on the Island. Preferably Lekki/Ajah axis
