• Responsible for developing an Operations and Maintenance plan, l ensuring it is tested, documented, and implemented in accordance with approved procedures and safety standards.
• Direct the execution of both planned and contingency Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services tensure ipNX's outside plant infrastructure is properly operated and maintained.
• Additionally, responsible for risk management, mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management, and metric reporting.
• Deliver and operate services within agreed-upon performance standards and contractual agreements, while staying within specified timelines and budgets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive proactive maintenance and set up system monitoring, treduce outside plant failure and incident response time.
• Manage and maintain inventory of equipment and consumables required on all sites, ensuring availability and repair / return of same.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are maintained across all sections of the infrastructure.
• Set and maintain the highest standards for safety and actively promote a world-class safety culture in all aspects
• of operational procedure.
• Form and lead tactical response teams tresolve specific technical issues by delivering root-cause remediation and
• successful timely implementation of Engineering Operations.
• Develop and document Operations and Maintenance (O&M) plan in line with the Infrastructure business objectives.
• Work within Service Operations tensure that SLAs are met and exceeded.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent (2.1/Upper Credit Minimum).
• Ability tconfidently communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization.
• Extensive technical knowledge deploying and managing network and infrastructure environment
• Well organized, articulate and has numerate skills
• Knowledge of network hardware configuration and management, including routers, firewalls, switches etc.
• 5-7 years’ relevant experience in the
• IT/Telecommunications field with at least 4-5 years in FTTH Rollout Operations
• Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fibre) cabling.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility for the development and support of the OSS/BSS platform and its integration with other systems and applications.
• Design, develop, and implement APIs and application modules in support of the OSS/BSS platform and related systems
• Prepare test plan and perform system acceptance testing
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues as part of application support
• Application software configuration, enhancement and adaptation
• Analyze OSS/BSS enhancement requests
• Creates work plans, develops schedules, and develops time and cost estimates for projects
• Creates all System Definition Model (SDM) technical documents: Functional Specs, Design docs, etc.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2.1/ Upper Credit Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems or any related field or a combination of related experience and education.
• Hands-on experience with Perl programming, Linux, Postgres RDBMS, and Apache web server required
• Demonstrated experience developing database-driven web applications using PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails, or Java, a plus
• Previous experience with Telco OSS/BSS software.
• Freeside and FreeRadius, a big advantage
• Experience with software development (user experience) using JavaScript including libraries such as JQuery, Angular, React, Vue etc. XML, CSS3.0 (with dynamic, responsive web design with mobile devices), and other related UI technologies (HTML5 etc)
• Good understanding of web application
• development using HTTP REST, software standards, software development life cycle and methodologies
• Knowledge of software development process, quality control, and impact assessment
• Demonstrated knowledge in mobile platforms, internet technologies and user interface
• Experience working in a multi-platform (LINUX, Mac-OS and Windows) environment.
• Experience working with version control systems (Subversion, Git).

Job description

• Proffer innovative solutions to various network problems and ensures that customer needs are properly defined and satisfactorily met. Implements and evaluates the working of systems applications / network and stays abreast of new technologies emerging in the industry.
• Provides supervision of all first-level active and passive on-site and off-site technical support for all ipNX infrastructure, including fibre backbone,
• FTTx, wireless networks, inside and outside plant infrastructure, among others.
• To consistently provide high-quality customer service and support while ensuring customer satisfaction, Working closely with the Infrastructure team.
• The primary duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to: Responsible for managing and coordinating the NOC team.
• The main aim for this coordination is to ensure that the systems runs efficiently without interruption.
• The NMC Lead must keep upper management informed about what is happening on the infrastructure.

Requirements

• B.Sc / B.Eng in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Electrical /
• Electronics Engineering
• 3 – 6 years work experience.
• CCNA, CCNP (Desired)
• A hands-on experience with the
• following is a must: Routing, Switchig
• and GPON Technology
• Strong telecommunications, IP design skills, & in-depth knowledge of IP Network.
