    Team Lead - Supply Chain

    Job Summary

    • The incumbent is accountable and/or responsible for all activities related to supply chain products, processes and people.
    • Collaborate with heads of units within the Operations Division in areas of infrastructure and product development and optimization, vendor and contract management covering various product lines of Netfinity Limited and Netcom Africa Limited.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own and manage the company’s procurement, logistics and warehouse operations - for all client-related purchasing - to be up to industry best practice.
    • Identity and establish solid relationship with key IT equipment distributors in the industry to enable purchases that meet the criteria of quality and cost competitiveness for Netcom.
    • Supply Chain focal and work closely with Solutions Innovation Hub and Operations in leading sensitive negotiations including liaising with external stakeholders on critical projects.
    • Contract management
    • Establish, organize, and maintain re-evaluations process for all major suppliers.
    • Overview of records of equipment orders and deliveries to always ensure that there’s proper reconciliation of company assets within and outside Lagos.
    • Overview of processes to ensure internal control over Logistics, Procurement, and Inventory and to promote a culture of continuous improvements.
    • Responsibility for ensuring purchasing costs is registered in the ERP system in line with the Company’s internal accounting process.

    Requirements

    • University Degree in Engineering / Science
    • Certification: Procurement and Supply Chain related certifications are an advantage.
    • Minimum of 7 years experience in an Supply Chain Management of a similar scale within the IT Industry. (at least 3 years supervisory experience required)

    Customer Support Engineer

    Job Summary

    • Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical assistance and support to our customers, ensuring their satisfaction and successful use of our products or services.
    • You will serve as a bridge between our customers and our technical teams, helping to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding internet service issues, billing inquiries, and general support questions.
    • Provide technical assistance to customers in troubleshooting and resolving internet connectivity problems, including router configurations, network setups, and basic hardware or software issues.
    • Offer comprehensive explanations of services, pricing plans, and features to potential and existing customers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our offerings.
    • Accurately log customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the ticketing system to maintain a comprehensive customer support database.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Core Network Support, Access Network and System support, to escalate and resolve complex technical issues that require specialized expertise.
    • Identify and escalate potential service disruptions or network-related problems to the appropriate department for swift resolution.
    • Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and service efficiency, suggesting process enhancements or product improvements when necessary.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, new technologies, and ISP service offerings to provide informed assistance and advice to customers.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
    • Proven experience in technical support, customer service, or a related role.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
    • Proficiency in using help desk software, customer support tools, and remote support technologies.
    • Familiarity with a range of operating systems, software applications, and networking concepts.
    • Patience, empathy, and a customer-centric attitude.

    Core IP Network Engineer

    Objective & Summary

    • The job holder will be responsible for participating in IP network operation, infrastructure connectivity and security planning as well as development.

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    • Participate in all network operation (IP network, wireless/wired/optical last mile), infrastructure connectivity, security planning as well as development.
    • Support network design and implementation for enterprise and client networks.
    • Ensure all IP devices are secured and within operational limits.
    • Support daily IP network operation, project management and services monitoring.
    • Conduct network analysis and troubleshooting.
    • Coordinate with Regional IP Registry.
    • Document all network changes.
    • Any other duties from time to time as required by the organization.

    Requirements
    Experience, Education and / or Professional Qualification:

    • Bachelors degree in Electronics/Communications/Network/Computer Engineering (or equivalent).
    • IP Certification, preferably from Cisco on CCNP level equivalent or above.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IP Network and System Support.

    Ess​ential Skills / Knowledge:

    • Hands-on experience in the design and operation of LAN/WAN technology including: TCP/IP (routers, configuration and setup), Security (firewalls – Cisco, Juniper, Barracuda), Network management (switches, hubs, fiber-optic, cabling, packet sniffing).
    • Advanced knowledge in Router, Catalyst, Load Balancer, Firewall, Security, Internet Connection, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP4, VPN, Frame Relay, TCP/IP, LAN/ WAN, VLAN, Spanning Tree, Ethereal.
    • Knowledge in Unix/ Linux, Shell script, IDS, QoS, Video/ Streaming Protocols.
    • Experience designing last mile access solutions for different environments (DSL, microwave radio, PTP and PTP radio, fibre etc.)
    • Strong written and oral communications skills in English.
    • Willing to perform work or provide support outside office hours.
    • Highly motivated and resourceful.
    • Must be a team player and be able to prioritize different request and requirements.
    • Hand-on design and operation of network like BGP and MPLS.

    Desirable Skills / Knowledge:

    • Experience in ISP and managing a sizable IP network.
    • Experience in liaising with Regional IP Registry (APNIC, RIPE, AfriNIC etc.)
    • Knowledge of structure cabling and VoIP.
