    Teaching Assistant - Year I (Support Role)

    About the Role

    • We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support learning and classroom management in our Year 1 class.
    • The ideal candidate will assist the lead teacher in delivering lessons, supervising pupils, and maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment for children aged 5 - 6.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist the class teacher in lesson preparation, delivery, and classroom organization
    • Support pupils with individual and group activities
    • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
    • Supervise children during playtime, meals, and transitions
    • Assist with marking, record-keeping, and communication with parents when needed
    • Maintain a safe and tidy classroom environment

    Requirements

    • Minimum of NCE, OND, or relevant educational qualification
    • Prior experience working with young children (especially in Year 1 or Early Years)
    • Patient, caring, and energetic personality
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    • Basic understanding of child development and classroom support
    • Willingness to learn and support the teaching team.

    Nursery Teacher

    Science and ICT Teacher

    Job Summary
