Job Summary

• We are looking for an astute STORE KEEPER to oversee STOCK AND INVENTORIES Activities at our Store.
• The Storekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and issuance of goods in our warehouse or store facility.
• This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing storage areas, and ensuring efficient movement of goods to support our business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner as they enter the establishment.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision.
• Ensure that all transactions are processed in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Provide information to customers regarding products, promotions, and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting periodic inventory counts.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the cashiering process.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and professionalism at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a cashier or in a similar role.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OND or ND equivalent.
• Additional certifications in cash handling or customer service are a plus.
• Experience in the hospitality industry
