    State Manager

    Role Overview

    • We are seeking a proactive and strategic State Manager to lead all operational, sales, and performance-related activities across the state.
    • This role combines leadership, execution, and relationship management to ensure consistent growth, high service standards, and full compliance with organizational policies.
    • A strong background in gadget/device financing (e.g., EasyBuy or similar models) is required, as the role will involve overseeing operations in markets where device financing is a key driver of growth.

    Key Responsibilities
    State-Level Strategy & Execution:

    • Drive the implementation of sales strategies tailored to local market conditions.
    • Develop and execute state-wide market expansion and customer acquisition plans.
    • Monitor competitive landscape and provide actionable insights to leadership.

    Branch Oversight & Field Operations:

    • Provide leadership and direction to all branch and field teams.
    • Conduct routine operational reviews and on-ground visits.
    • Ensure outlets align with operational standards, processes, and customer experience goals.

    People Leadership & Performance Management:

    • Recruit, train, and mentor branch and field personnel.
    • Set and monitor KPIs to drive accountability and performance.
    • Foster a culture of ownership, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

    Risk, Compliance & Reporting:

    • Ensure adherence to credit policies, documentation standards, and risk protocols.
    • Oversee the resolution of escalated client issues and operational risks.
    • Prepare and present daily/weekly/monthly reports on state performance and trends.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in multi-branch management, retail finance, or field operations.
    • Direct experience in gadget/device financing operations (e.g., EasyBuy or similar models) is highly preferred.
    • Experience in team leadership and driving sales, collections, or recovery performance.
    • Strong familiarity with the assigned region and its local market dynamics.
    • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.

    Senior Fund Accountant

    Job Objective

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Fund Accountant with strong financial services experience to oversee fund accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • The ideal candidate will bring expertise in fund management, investment accounting, and stakeholder reporting, with the ability to work cross-functionally to support the organization’s growth.

    Key Responsibilities
    Fund Accounting & Reporting:

    • Prepare, review, and deliver timely and accurate financial statements for funds under management.
    • Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly NAV calculations and reconciliations.
    • Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and relevant financial regulations.

    Financial Controls & Compliance:

    • Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and audit requirements.
    • Liaise with external auditors, custodians, and regulators to support audits and compliance reviews.
    • Monitor changes in financial regulations and ensure ongoing compliance.

    Investment Operations Support:

    • Reconcile investment portfolios, including cash, positions, and market valuations.
    • Track fund performance and prepare analysis for internal stakeholders and investors.
    • Support portfolio managers with accurate data and reporting for investment decision-making.

    Process Improvement & Leadership:

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency in fund accounting.
    • Mentor and provide guidance to junior accountants on fund accounting practices.
    • Contribute to system enhancements and adoption of best practices in reporting and compliance

    KPIs

    • Accuracy and timeliness of fund NAV calculations and reporting.
    • Compliance with regulatory and audit requirements
    • Quality of financial analysis and insights provided to stakeholders.
    • Efficiency improvements in fund accounting processes.
    • Contribution to successful audits and risk mitigation.

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) required.
    • 5–7 years of relevant fund accounting experience, ideally in financial services, asset management, or investment banking.
    • In-depth knowledge of IFRS, fund structures, and regulatory frameworks in Nigeria.

    Key Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong technical knowledge of fund accounting and investment instruments.
    • Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
    • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
    • Strong communication skills for liaising with auditors, regulators, and stakeholders.
