    Solar Engineer / Technician

    Location: Utako, Abuja

    Job Description

    • The Solar Engineer will support the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of solarsystems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
    • This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with seasoned engineers, gaining hands-on experience, technical expertise, and professional growth within the renewable energy sector.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in the design, planning, and analysis of solar PV systems (rooftop, ground-mounted, hybrid, and off-grid).
    • Conduct load assessments, shading analysis, and system performance estimations.
    • Support installation, commissioning, and routine maintenance of solar energy projects.
    • Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize system performance.
    • Participate in site surveys, prepare engineering documentation, and contribute to project reports.
    • Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies.
    • Learn directly from experienced engineers through mentorship, shadowing, and technical training.
    • Stay up to date on industry advancements, equipment, and innovative solar solutions.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • B.Sc ./ B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
    • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in solar systems (graduates with internship/NYSC experience may also apply).
    • Solid understanding of electrical systems, renewable energy concepts, and safety regulations.
    • Proficiency in solar design tools/software (e.g., PVsyst, Helioscope, AutoCAD) is an added advantage.
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.
    • Willingness to learn and grow under mentorship from experienced engineers.
    • Excellent communication and reporting skills.

    Inventory Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a smart, detail-oriented, and motivated Inventory Officer to join our operations team.
    • The Inventory Officer will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate stock records, tracking product movement across branches, and ensuring smooth coordination between warehouse, logistics, and sales teams. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Maintain accurate inventory records across all locations.
    • Perform daily stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Record all incoming and outgoing goods in the company’s inventory system.
    • Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely product dispatch.
    • Verify release notes and delivery documentation.
    • Prepare periodic inventory reports for management review.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies for goods handling and record keeping.
    • Assist in regular audits and implement corrective measures where needed.

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Accounting, Logistics, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in inventory or warehouse management (solar industry experience is an advantage).
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software (e.g., Zoho, Odoo, or related tools).
    • Excellent attention to detail and record accuracy.
    • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
