    Social Media Analyst

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    • The Social Media Analyst will be responsible for managing day-to-day social media presence, developing platform-native content, directing short-form video shoots, and analysing performance to optimise growth and engagement. This role sits at the intersection of content, creativity, and analytics, ensuring that social media activity drives measurable brand and business outcomes.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Social Media Management

    • Manage and grow the Paga Group’s social media pages across platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.)
    • Plan, schedule, and publish content in line with brand guidelines and campaign objectives
    • Monitor comments, DMs, and conversations, escalating issues when necessary
    • Stay on top of platform trends, algorithm changes, and emerging formats

    Content Development

    • Develop platform-specific content ideas, captions, and storytelling angles
    • Translate campaigns, announcements, and brand narratives into engaging social content
    • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and internal teams to deliver high-quality content
    • Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across platforms

    Video Shoot & Direction

    • Plan and coordinate short-form video shoots for social media
    • Direct on-camera talent (employees, executives, creators) during video shoots
    • Work with videographers and editors to produce platform-ready video content
    • Optimize videos for performance across formats (Reels, TikTok, Shorts, X video)

    Analytics & Measurement

    • Track and analyze social media performance using platform analytics and third-party tools
    • Measure reach, engagement, follower growth, video performance, and conversions
    • Produce regular performance reports with insights and recommendations
    • Use data to continuously refine content strategy and posting cadence

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    • 1–3 years experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organisation
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices
    • Hands-on experience with short-form video content and on-set direction
    • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills
    • Experience analysing social media data and translating insights into action
    • Familiarity with social media management and analytics tools
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

    Growth Marketing Associate

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    • We are looking for an ambitious, entrepreneurial and enthusiastic Growth Marketing Associate to join our team and play a vital role in planning, enhancing, implementing, and optimizing our growth strategy.
    • In this cross-functional role, you will be living at the cross-section of data, creative marketing, consumer experience and strategy. You will lead the formulation and delivery of various consumer campaigns to drive acquisition, engagement, retention, comprehension and loyalty across our products and services.
    • Success will be having implemented a stand-out, end-to-end customer journey which provides a steady and sustainable stream of new and retained customers. Furthermore, you will be in a position to learn a lot from the broader team and the opportunity to grow your own functional team.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Understand deeply the lifecycle of customers on Paga and identify opportunities for growth and optimization
    • Conceive and execute on a wide range of content campaigns to drive education
    • Investigate and test new channels to communicate with our existing customers
    • Drive sponsorships and partnerships to create relevant brand awareness and consumer interest
    • Run marketing campaigns and other growth initiatives end-to-end: design experiments, develop campaign strategy, and drive execution of the campaign through to completion
    • Collaborate on effective content marketing strategies and maintain a calendar of content distribution around the products - continuously optimize it for
    • Identify opportunities for increasing paid conversions and potential upselling of existing customers
    • Identifying common churn factors and optimizing retention strategies through other marketing channels and/or within the product
    • Work with a cross functional team (Product, Marketing, Sales & Distribution) to establish growth strategies to support Paga’s revenue goals.
    • Create, manage and experiment with new user acquisition
    • Partner with our analytics team to measure the impact of each campaign, and develop ways to scale
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager, Growth.

    KEY COMPETENCIES

    • A love of data, ability to analyse a marketing funnel; ability to identify and size different growth opportunities and the various ways to meet them
    • The ability to think strategically and develop comprehensive, data-driven marketing plans
    • First-hand experience with integrated digital marketing (social media, SEO, Content, SEM, Mobile, Email)
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and an ability to use data to gain insights and drive decisions
    • Basic knowledge of databases & SQL is a plus

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of a 2:1 in marketing or in a relevant discipline
    • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience
    • Communicates tactfully and effectively both verbally and in writing
    • A strong background in a strategic marketing or product marketing role
    • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
    • Good knowledge of Paga products and services
    • Attention to detail and set high standards
    • Demonstrated service excellence at a support level
    • Must have completed the mandatory NYSC

    Product Marketer

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    • We are looking for a Product Marketer—a high-level individual contributor who is a master of the craft. This role isn't about managing a large tea; it’s about owning execution and strategy for our most critical product lines.
    • You are a "full-stack" marketer who can pivot from high-level strategic positioning in the morning to writing high-converting UI copy in the afternoon. You will be the primary link between the product's technical capabilities and the customer's lived experience, ensuring that every feature we ship solves a real problem for Nigerians.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Product Narrative & Messaging: Develop the core value propositions and messaging frameworks for Paga’s consumer and merchant offerings. You ensure our voice is consistent, empathetic, and clear across every touchpoint.
    • End-to-End GTM Ownership: Lead the execution of go-to-market plans for new features. You aren't just overseeing the plan; you are building the assets, coordinating the emails, and ensuring the "in-app" experience matches the marketing promise.
    • Customer Advocacy: Act as the internal expert on our users. You’ll conduct interviews and dive into user behavior data to provide the Product team with actionable feedback that shapes the roadmap.
    • Lifecycle Marketing: Work closely with the Growth team to design and optimize triggers, notifications, and educational content that move users from "signed up" to "power user."
    • Competitive Intelligence: Stay three steps ahead of the fintech curve. You’ll monitor competitors and market shifts to ensure Paga remains the preferred choice for payments.
    • Sales & Agent Support: Equip our massive agent network and sales teams with the narrative tools, one-pagers, and localized content they need to drive adoption on the ground.

    • The Master Practitioner: You have a deep toolkit. You know how to draft a push notification sequence and analyze a cohort retention chart yourself.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Product Marketing. We are looking for someone who has "been in the trenches" at a fast-growing tech company (Fintech experience preferred).
    • Writing Excellence: You must be an exceptional writer. You can write punchy, persuasive copy that drives action.
    • Analytical Rigor: You are comfortable using tools like Amplitude, Mixpanel, or SQL to pull your own data and measure the success of your campaigns.
    • Adaptability: You are comfortable with ambiguity and can pivot quickly in the fast-moving Nigerian fintech space.
