Job Summary

• The successful candidate is to ensure workplace safety, environmental compliance, and employee well-being at the construction site.
• He / She shall be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to regulations.
• This role involves strategic planning, team leadership, and overseeing site-wide safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and implement HSE plans
• Conduct risk assessments:
• Ensure regulatory compliance:
• Supervise and train HSE staff:
• Monitor and improve HSE performance:
• Provide guidance and support to site management:
• Manage HSE incidents:
• Report to the General Manager daily Site KPIs

Qualifications

• A relevant engineering degree (Environmental, Civil, Building) and relevant Engineering and Safety certifications; COREN, CORBON, or equivalent.
• 7 - 12 years work experience

Skills:

• Experience in HSE management particularly in a construction or project environment.
• Leadership and communication skills; Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with relevant safety and environmental regulations and industry standards is crucial.
• Ability to analyze data, identify risks, and develop effective solutions.

Job Details

• Candidate will work with the MEP Director on a variety of projects using computer aided drafting (CAD) software.
• Candidate must be capable of preparing multiple view drawings, detail drawings, electrical ad Mechanical schematics, block diagrams and technical illustrations.
• Ability to organize complete system drawing packages. Drawings include complex design features that require considerable drafting skill and experience to visualize and portray.
• Must have the skills to review engineering drawings and designs to ensure adherence to established client specifications and standards.
• Up to date knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in Electrical/Mechanical drafting within the Construction industry.

Requirements
The candidate must:

• Have a Degree or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering / Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
• Be experienced in the use of computer-aided design and software development. (AutoCAD is preferred.)
• An excellent hands-on problem solver with at least 5 years experience.
• Be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
• Be able to work with little or no supervision
• Be smart and analytical
• Be available to start as soon as possible.
