Job Summary:

• Provide mechanical design, technical analysis and resolution of engineering problems. Provide direction and coordination of a team of engineers and designers to successfully complete design and engineering tasks. Shop drawing and material, submittal and approval.

Responsibilities:

• Assign duties and follow up with engineers and draftsmen
• Coordinate with consultant for shop drawing and material submittal/Approval Design systems incorporating pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, tanks, piping, instrumentation and controls into the overall design
• Take responsibility for mechanical engineering tasks, and perform associated calculations and analysis
• Review project design, specifications, drawings & relevant documents, and provide resolution when needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years Mechanical Engineering experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must be adept in the use of Internet and E-mail
• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD software
• Reasonable knowledge about construction and designing principles

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Application of client/consultant’s design drawings on site applying detailed installation methods for Earthing, reservations, conduits, cable tray, power distribution, lighting, control systems, LV panels of various sizes, etc.
• Technical analysis of Electrical Engineering Projects from drawings, specifications and Bill of Engineering Measurement for application in project execution
• Familiar with relevant Electrical installation and construction standards and specifications.
• Ability to use AUTOCAD for designs and shop drawings will be an added advantage
• Analyse Project Electrical installation problems and offer effective resolutions on site

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from accredited engineering school. HND + additional qualifications and longer relevant experience may be considered
• Must have knowledge of electrical engineering and be familiar with applicable codes, standards and acceptable industry practices
• 10+ years of formal experience in Electrical Installation works in the building services
• Thorough knowledge of the standard practices, tools and terminology of the electrical installations;
• Thorough knowledge of electrical theory; Thorough knowledge of the safety hazards of the work and of the necessary safety precautions considerable knowledge of the electrical code.
• Ability to sketch job layouts of locations and conditions for electrical installation.
