The Position

• We are currently seeking to expand our Engineering team.
• The Backend developer will utilize backend data services and contribute when required to creating and updating data services API.
• You will lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support.

Responsibilities

• Build highly reliable and scalable cloud-based applications
• Work in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) based environment with bright and forward-thinking developers and quality engineers
• Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
• Conduct functional and non-functional testing
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.

Requirements
Required:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven work experience as a developer
• Experience in developing applications using Java EE platforms
• Experience in Spring, Spring boot, Struts, or equivalent J2EE framework software
• Excellent skills in DB Schema design and SQL development.

Preferred:

• Excellent knowledge of SQL and hands on experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate
• Working knowledge and experience with JQuery, Ajax, JSON, CSS, HTML.

The position

• You will conduct assigned operational and IT audit reviews and investigation with a view to providing assurance to the Board and Senior Management that controls are in place, adequate and operating effectively to support the Company in achieving its goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessment and audits of departments/functional areas in accordance with the audit plan
• Timely investigation of all fraud cases, customer complaints, general investigation and any assigned special investigation as may be assigned from time to time
• Provide practical recommendations to management to minimize risk resulting from poor internal controls
• Provide assurance that controls are in place and are effective and adequate and make recommendations where necessary
• Track resolution of all audit / control recommendations and ensure compliance within agreed timeline.
• Create and improve homogeneous Control Culture across all units of the Bank that aligns with the business objectives of the Bank

Requirements

• Required: B.Sc Degree in any field

The Position

• The data engineer will have the capacity to truly move the needle of success, working closely with the Database Administrator the IT Operations team, to implement real company-wide change and innovation.
• Our Data Engineer will be essential in driving the data engineering and transformation efforts for Renmoney.

Responsibilities

• Help maintain and extend data warehousing capabilities and Improve functionality of existing machine learning infrastructure.
• Build new ETLs and extend existing ones, data acquisition & develop data set processes which includes defining data label and create appropriate description and data types (general data profiling)
• Own the architecture, delivery, and evolution of interrelated big data systems for the firm and building reliable data pipelines.
• Work closely with product engineering to ship experiments related to deploying new models, customer on-boarding data and journey tracking.
• Do intermittent data related work on our website app and help guide research POCs, including design, coding, and performance measures.

Requirements
Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience / self-taught (1 - 2 years);
• Hands on experience with ETL and SQL (MySQL workbench), python or similar language, Unix/Linux systems

Preferred:

• Expertise in writing performant SQL queries (OLTP (Postgres / MySQL) and MPP OLAP);
• Experience in working with both (Redshift/Vertica/Snowflake) databases.
