Job Brief

• We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant (Treasury) to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our organization. The senior accountant's responsibilities include closely monitoring cash balances and ensures efficient cash management, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, assisting with audit preparations, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
• To be successful as a Senior Accountant, you should have a solid working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and strong financial analysis skills.
• An outstanding senior accountant should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to work with little to no supervision and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Closely monitors cash balances and ensures efficient cash management.
• Establishes and maintains positive, ongoing relationships with banking partners and ensures efficient and cost-effective banking operations
• Maintain a system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities.
• Approve the movement of funds in banking platform.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.
• Identify and manage any foreign exchange transactions.
• Prepare & Maintain the Daily, Weekly & Monthly reports.
• Coordinate the annual audit of financial records.
• Document all business financial transactions.
• Coordinate with other units & departments for ease processing of their transactions.

Academic & Professional Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Financial Accounting.
• 4 - 5 years cognate experience working as an account treasury specialist.
• ACA /ACCA / ICAN is required.
• MSc. will be an added advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills regarding documentation and file or record-keeping
• Strong verbal and visual financial reporting skills.
• Valuable time management and prioritization skills.
• In-depth knowledge of software tools used by the committee.
• Solid understanding of budget planning and finance.
• Substantial value for ethics and trustworthy operations.
• Knowledge of monetary market.

Brief

• To supervise the day to day activities of the project Operations team, providing guidance and technicalleadership to ensurethe integrity of the network.

Responsibilities

• Managing and Overseeing the passive and overall site operations in the assigned region
• Supervising PPM implementation
• Monitoring spare parts allocation and requests, re-distribution of spares and tracking usage of spares
• Monitoring diesel distribution and consumption
• Team planning and site dimensioning, resource allocation, Spot Check Analysis /Non conformities
• Preparing Trouble Ticket Report, Site failure root cause analysis and preventive re-occurrence plan
• Preparing weekly customer review meetings, reports and presentations, Performance Metrics (MTTR, MTBF, Failure rate, Fault counts, Network Availability)
• Managing and coaching direct reports
• Ensuring Customer Satisfaction by making sure that all customer complaints are appropriately followed through and closed out
• Enforcing high maintenance standard by ensuring that sites are clean, Logbooks are maintained, schedules are adhered to and all site processes are followed.
• Conducting Power analysis and calculating load requirements and analyzing consumption.
• Monthly PFR, Cost control and analysis, implementing cost-saving actions
• Ensuring 99.99% of power availability in the region
• Ensuring Optimal performance of Energy saving solutions to achieve ROI.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an HND / B.Eng qualification with 5 - 7 years work experience.
