Key Reponsibilities

• Controlling the tidiness of the premises
• Enforcing hygiene practices across all workstations
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies

Education & Experience

Minimum Qualification:

• OND/HND/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Cosmetology, or a related field.
• Relevant salon management or supervisory training is an added advantage.

 Experience:

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a salon, spa, or beauty business (at least 2 years in a leadership role).
• Proven record of managing salon operations, team coordination, and meeting sales or performance targets.

Key Requirements

• Client consultation: Meet with clients to discuss desired hairstyles, hair condition, and any concerns.
• Hair preparation: Wash, condition, and detangle hair to prepare it for the braiding process.
• Hair sectioning: Divide the hair into neat, uniform sections for consistent braiding.
• Braiding: Skillfully execute various braiding styles like cornrows, box braids, and twists.
• Adding extensions: Incorporate hair extensions and decorative elements like beads as requested.
• Product application: Use oils, mousses, or sprays to enhance the hair's health and the final look of the braids.
• Hygiene and sanitation: Keep the workstation and all tools clean and sanitized before and after each client.
• Aftercare education: Advise clients on how to maintain their braids, including washing, moisturizing, and nightly protection.
• Stay updated: Keep up with the latest braiding trends and techniques through continued learning.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of SSCE / equivalent qualification.
• Professional training or certification in hair braiding or hairstyling (preferred but not mandatory).
• 2+ years of salon experience as a braider or stylist.
• Proven portfolio of completed braiding styles (photos or client references).

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in all major braid types (knotless, box, cornrows, twists, feed-in, bohemian, etc.).
• Knowledge of hair preparation, shampooing, blow-drying, and scalp care.
• Ability to work with natural hair and extensions.
• Strong knowledge of hair products (gels, oils, conditioners, etc.) suitable for different hair textures.
• Neatness, precision, and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:

Key Responsibilities

Hair Services & Client Care

• Provide professional hair services including wig making & cutting, wig styling & Natural Hair styling, Frontal installation & styling, sew in weave-on styles , ponytail styles , short hair cutting & styling, braiding, coloring, relaxing, and treatments.
• Recommend hairstyles and hair care routines based on clients’ face shape, hair type, and preferences.
• Offer personalized consultations to understand clients’ needs and desired results.
• Ensure high-quality, consistent results that meet salon standards.

Hair & Scalp Treatments

• Apply treatments for hair repair, hydration, dandruff, and scalp care.
• Perform steaming, deep conditioning, and hair growth therapies.
• Educate clients on home care and appropriate product use.

Cleanliness & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon equipment.
• Follow health and safety regulations (sterilizing combs, brushes, and tools after each use).
• Keep the salon environment neat, organized, and visually appealing.

Product Knowledge & Sales

• Promote and sell salon products (shampoo, conditioner, oils, serums, etc.).
• Stay updated on current trends, new techniques, and product innovations.
• Help achieve salon retail targets through upselling and client education.

Customer Service

• Provide a friendly, professional, and welcoming experience for every client.
• Listen attentively to clients’ feedback and ensure satisfaction before they leave.
• Handle client complaints politely and escalate issues to the salon manager when needed.

Teamwork & Professional Conduct

• Collaborate effectively with other stylists, nail technicians, and makeup artists.
• Arrive on time, dressed neatly, and adhere to the salon’s code of conduct.
• Participate in salon meetings, trainings, and promotional events.

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with hair trends, frontal wig styling techniques, and styling tools.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to improve technical skills.
• Maintain a creative and innovative approach to hairstyling.
