Job Purpose

• To generate qualified leads, promote Hoop Telecoms' residential, SME, and broadband solutions, and convert prospects into paying customers through proactive field sales and relationship-building activities.

Customer Acquisition
Sell:

• FTTH
• SME Broadband
• Home Internet
• Business Broadband.

Field Marketing
Participate in:

• Door-to-door campaigns
• Estate activations
• Street marketing
• Community events
• Music activations
• Product demonstrations

Lead Generation
Generate opportunities through:

• Walk-ins
• Referrals
• Cold calls
• Existing customer referrals
• Community engagement
• Local business networking.

Sales Process
Qualify prospects:

• Conduct needs assessments.
• Explain products and packages.
• Coordinate feasibility checks.
• Follow up until installation is completed.

Customer Relationship:

• Maintain positive relationships with customers and identify opportunities for upgrades, renewals, and referrals.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree with 3 - 4 years experience.

Job Purpose

• To identify, develop, negotiate and manage strategic business opportunities that generate sustainable recurring revenue for Hoop Telecoms.
• The Business Development Manager is responsible for acquiring new enterprise customers, growing existing strategic accounts, and building long-term relationships within assigned industries while supporting revenue growth across secondary industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify enterprise opportunities. Identify and qualify enterprise opportunities.
• Generate new recurring revenue.
• Conduct solution presentations.
• Build and Develop relationships with C-level executives, IT Managers, Procurement Managers and business decision-makers.
• Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Own assigned industry verticals.
• Grow strategic accounts.
• Generate recurring revenue
• Maintain CRM and market intelligence.

Industry Ownership:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned industries:
• Examples include:
  • Banking
  • Healthcare
  • Education
  • Hospitality
  • Manufacturing
  • Government
  • Logistics
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging customer needs to inform strategy.

Secondary Industry Support:

• Provide support in additional assigned industries to ensure adequate market coverage and business continuity.

Market Intelligence:

• Maintain updated intelligence on:
• Competitors
• Current ISP providers
• Decision makers
• Fibre availability
• Planned developments
• Revenue opportunities

Account Growth:

• Upsell services.
• Cross-sell solutions.
• Improve customer retention.
• Generate referrals.
