    Sales Engineer

    • As a Sales Engineer you will be generally responsible for developing strategies to gain new customers and provide technical assistance where necessary. Additionally, as a Sales Engineer you will help other members of the sales team under the customer’s need, do research and present specialized solutions to fulfil those needs.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Identify and establish new business
    • Organize sales visits and liaise with existing clients
    • Conduct customer need analysis and present customers with possible solutions
    • Providing pre-sales and post-sales support and reports
    • Attend exhibitions, conventions and other events to help with the sales of products and services
    • Provide product education and advice
    • Ensure sales targets are met.
    • Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals.
    • Collaborate to implement marketing initiatives and better business practices
    • Completing performance reviews in a prudent manner
    • Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
    • Identifies current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
    • Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
    • Establishes new accounts and services accounts by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales call schedule.
    • Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
    • Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
    • Prepares sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineering and application trends.
    • Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Skills & Specifications

    • BSc in mechanical, electrical engineering or related discipline.
    • Minimum 300M sales and above in either FMCG or Oil and Gas industry
    • Must have a strong customer base.
    • Product & Solution Expertise: Deep understanding of the products, systems, and technologies offered (e.g., valves, pumps, turbines, automation systems
    • Application Engineering: Ability to advise on technical configurations and how solutions fit specific projects (e.g., oil & gas, power, construction)
    • Technical Proposal Writing: Skill in preparing clear, competitive, and technically accurate proposals, datasheets, and BOQs
    • Tendering & Bidding Expertise: Understanding of public and private sector procurement processes, RFQs, RFPs, and bid packaging
    • Client Relationship Management: Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills
    • Negotiation Skills: Skilled in structuring commercial offers and negotiating pricing, payment terms, and aftersales support
    • Sales Forecasting & Pipeline Management: Ability to project revenues, manage CRM systems, and track KPIs
    • Technical Communication: Ability to explain complex systems in simple terms to non-engineering decision-makers
    • ERP / CRM Tools: Use of SAP, Oracle, Zoho, or Salesforce for quotes, leads, and order tracking
    • Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint: For financial modeling, reporting, and presentations

    General Manager, Technical (EPIIM)

    Job Summary

    • The General Manager, Technical (EPIIM) is responsible for providing strategic leadership and ensuring the successful execution of engineering, procurement, integration, installation, and maintenance projects. This role oversees the full lifecycle of major projects from feasibility studies and design reviews to procurement, systems integration, installation, and ongoing maintenance. Key responsibilities include developing fit-for-purpose engineering solutions, sourcing critical materials and equipment, managing project manpower, and ensuring seamless system integration and long-term asset performance. The General Manager will drive operational excellence by optimizing efficiency, reducing downtime, and upholding the highest standards of safety and quality. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical acumen, commercial awareness, and a proven track record in delivering complex projects across the energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors in support of subsidiaries and clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Strategic & Operational Leadership

    • Develop and implement strategic plans for EPIIM project execution and growth.
    • Align technical operations with the company’s overall business goals and objectives.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and profitability.

    Project Management

    • Oversee the full lifecycle of engineering projects from design and procurement to integration, installation, and maintenance.
    • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.

    Functional Accountabilities:

    • Engineering: Oversee engineering designs, feasibility studies, and technical assessments. 
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure standards are met.
    • Procurement: Lead sourcing, negotiation, and procurement to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality delivery.
    • Integration: Supervise integration plans and ensure seamless system operations.
    • Installation: Ensure safe, efficient, and compliant installation of systems and equipment.
    •  Maintenance: Lead maintenance strategies, troubleshooting, budget management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or a related field).
    • A master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage.
    • 15+ years of progressive technical and leadership experience in engineering and project delivery, including at least 5 years at a senior management level. 
    • Proven track record in EPIIM project management within the oil & gas, energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors. 
    •  Demonstrated experience managing multi-million-dollar turnkey projects.
