• The Ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing employees and finances, and also controlling the quality of products and services offered to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and designating the duties and activities of the staff in his line of management.
• Taking inventory and ensuring measures are put in place and adhered to prevent theft and robberies.
• Informing the Area Manager about the activities of the store such as visits from public authorities, accidents or emergencies, etc.
• Take note of improvements to be made and measures to be put in place for efficiency.
• Review all cancellations of total receipts, complaints, and returns from customers and ensure that a customer’s complaint is not suspicious or unjustified then report to the Area Manager for decision-making.
• Provide training to new hires
• Make decisions on Order and Order Quantities

Key Requirements:

• First degree in any relevant field of study from a reputable academic institution.
• 3+ years’ experience as a retail store manager or a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of product and consumer trends, marketing strategies, and how to utilize them.
• Strong supervisory, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Keen attention to detail.
• Must be analytical and comfortable reviewing data.
• Must be motivated, organized, and determined.
• Must be able to juggle multiple tasks, work with a plan, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Good organizational skills

Job Objectives:

• This role will guarantee that the region's accounting/financial information is recorded in a reliable and timely manner, by International Financial Reporting Standards and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and approve the accounting records generated, ensuring their integrity and reasonableness.
• Daily reconcile the information from the regional stores regarding the collection between the NetSuite and POS systems, for them to be consistent and report if there are differences.
• Control balances and cash movements in stores.
• Keep accounting books updated, ensuring that accounting records are reliable, timely and reasonable.
• Carry out the accounting closing within the established deadlines, complying with the processes related to it.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements/reports related to regional accounting.

Key Requirements:

• First degree in Finance or Accounting related fields
• Must be a qualified and chartered accountant preferably (ACA, ACCA)
• 4-5 years of experience in a Finance Manager or supervisor role in the Retail/FMCG sector is desired
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and relevant accounting principles is a must
• Previous experience with the implementation of financial systems and controls is required.
• Notable P & L and balance sheet analysis skill
• Excellent People Management skills

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills
