    Retail Sales Officer

    Location: Lagos Mainland, Lagos

    Job Overview

    • As a Retail Sales Officer, you will be instrumental in driving sales and promoting our FTTH and internet services. Your role involves engaging potential customers, building relationships, generating leads, and converting interest into sales.
    • By delivering excellent service and a thorough understanding of our offerings, you will play a key part in achieving our sales goals and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Proactively promote and sell FTTH and internet services to retail customers.
    • Identify prospective clients and generate new business leads.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any complaints efficiently.
    • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our services.
    • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets and performance indicators (KPIs).
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to better assist customers.
    • Manage post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve department-wide objectives.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
    • 0-2 years of sales experience, ideally in telecommunications or a similar field.
    • Strong passion for sales in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to understand customer needs and offer appropriate solutions.
    • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
    • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
    • Basic knowledge of fibre optic or internet services (preferred, but not required).

    Commissioner

    Roles Accountabilities
    Seal, commission and upload all installed meters within 24hrs

    • Resolve all escalated reject within 24hrs
    • Ensure 100% quality and accurate installation of all meters daily; in line with standard specifications and escalate non-compliance
    • Ensure minimum installation of 4 meters daily per Installer. Timeliness and Knowledge of installation process is key for this task
    • Ensure task undertaken by Installers/Assistants are properly planned, coordinated, monitored and are in line with approved schedule and agreed SLA
    • Proper care and accountability of meters, materials, sealand work tools disbursed to the installer and assistants
    • Ensure all escalated customer complaints are resolved within 48hrs (95% compliance)
    • 100% compliance to standard professional conduct, IE’s safety code of conduct andzero extortion
    • Ensure the highlighted reports below are shared promptly with zero errors in the agreed template;
    • Daily activity report- 10am daily
    • Weekly meter stock report- COB Every Friday
    • Seal utilization report- COB Every Friday

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess a B.Eng Degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
