    Research & Development Manager โ€“ Printing Ink

    Key Responsibilities
     

    • Develop and optimize ink formulations for flexo and gravure printing applications, focusing on both water- and solvent-based technologies.
    • Lead new product development projects, from concept through commercialization.
    • Ensure color matching, drying behavior, adhesion, and print performance through rigorous lab testing.
    • Continuously improve manufacturing processes for quality consistency, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
    • Provide technical service and troubleshooting during customer trials and post-sale support.
    • Supervise lab operations, including raw material testing, quality assurance, and safety standards.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, production, and supply chain teams to align R&D efforts with market needs.

    If you possess…

    Must-Have

    • Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related fields.
    • 15+ years of hands-on experience in printing ink formulation and technical service, preferably in packaging applications.
    • Deep technical knowledge of resins, pigments, solvents, additives, and formulation strategies.
    • In-depth understanding of printing processes (flexographic, gravure) and press-side application.

    Nice-to-Have

    • Experience in sustainable formulation trends, including low-VOC and bio-based inks.
    • Understanding of best manufacturing practices, regulatory compliance, and environmental standards.
    • Familiarity with regional and global ink markets and customer expectations.

    Business Development Manager - Agro

    What are we looking for?

    • We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and technically competent Business Development Manager – Agro to drive the growth and development of our Agro business line in Nigeria.
    • You will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities (especially in niche agricultural markets), building lasting relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering sustainable growth through strategic commercial initiatives.

    What do we expect from the candidate?

    • You will be part of our Sales & Development Team and lead the commercial expansion of our agrochemical product lines in Nigeria.
    • We are looking for someone with strong agronomic knowledge, a track record of technical development and sales, and deep familiarity with Nigeria’s agricultural sector. You should be passionate about sustainable farming practices and understand the complex needs of farmers and agro-dealers.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Conduct detailed market analysis to understand customer needs, competitive dynamics, and identify strategic business opportunities in crop inputs.
    • Develop and implement a commercial development strategy for new products, including field trials, customer demonstrations, and business cases.
    • Build strong relationships with key accounts, local partners, and research institutes, acting as a trusted advisor on agronomic solutions.
    • Provide technical support to the commercial team and customers to ensure successful product launches and adoption.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to design technical support materials, training content, and promotional tools aligned with product positioning.
    • Represent the company at relevant agricultural exhibitions, field days, and industry events.

    If you possess…
    Must-Have

    • Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in technical sales and development in the Agrochemical or Crop Protection industry.
    • Deep knowledge of crop protection products, fertilizers, and integrated agronomic solutions.
    • Strong understanding of Nigeria’s agricultural landscape, regulatory frameworks, and grower challenges.

    Nice-to-Have

    • Experience working with or competing against leading multinationals such as Syngenta, FMC, Bayer, or Corteva.
    • Familiarity with Nigerian agro-distributors, cooperatives, and extension systems.
    • Experience launching new agrochemical or specialty products in emerging markets.
