    Relationship Manager

    Responsibilties

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities that align with the organization’s strategic objectives and revenue targets.
    • Actively prospect and engage potential clients including corporate organizations, institutional investors, high-net-worth individuals, and other market participants.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and opportunities that can translate into sustainable revenue streams for the organization.
    • Conduct meetings, presentations, and business discussions with prospective clients to understand their financial needs and introduce relevant solutions.
    • Drive the conversion of prospects into active clients through consistent follow-up, negotiation, and deal structuring support.
    • Develop and nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients to deepen engagement and increase business opportunities.
    • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring that their needs are well understood and addressed through the organization’s products and services.
    • Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on market developments, investment opportunities, and new product offerings.
    • Strengthen client loyalty by delivering exceptional service and positioning the organization as a trusted financial partner.
    • Promote the organization’s full suite of financial services including capital markets products, investment solutions, advisory services, and other offerings.
    • Work closely with product specialists and business unit teams to structure solutions that address client needs.
    • Present investment ideas, financial solutions, and market opportunities to prospective clients in a compelling and professional manner.
    • Identify opportunities to cross-sell multiple products and services across the organization’s business lines.
    • Develop a strong understanding of client segments, their investment needs, and emerging opportunities within the financial services market.
    • Provide feedback to management on market developments, client preferences, and competitive dynamics that may influence business strategy.
    • Identify new sectors, industries, and client categories that represent growth opportunities for the organization.
    • Maintain an active pipeline of prospective deals and business opportunities.
    • Track progress of business development initiatives from lead generation through to deal closure.
    • Prepare periodic reports on business development activities, revenue performance, and pipeline growth.
    • Monitor performance against assigned revenue targets and implement strategies to improve results.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
    • A Master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CIS, MBA) will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in business development, relationship management, sales, or client coverage within financial services.
    • Demonstrated experience in acquiring and managing clients within corporate, institutional, or high-net-worth segments.
    • Strong understanding of capital markets and financial advisory services.
