    Registered Nurse / Midwife

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum.
    • Conduct prenatal and postnatal examinations.
    • Provide education and support to women and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.
    • Take/Assist with deliveries and perform midwifery procedures as needed.
    • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care.

    • Stay current with evidence-based practice and professional development.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery or a related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Registered Nurse Midwife.
    • Current registration as a Registered Nurse / Midwife with the relevant professional body.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
    • Resident in Ibadan (Iwo Road, New Ife Road axis).
