Job Summary

• We are looking for a registered nurse to join our nursing staff in providing excellent health care to our patients.
• Your duty of caring for the patients coming into our facility includes tasks like creating and maintaining accurate patient records, administering medication and monitoring for side effects, recording vital signs, and reporting symptoms and changes in patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams to assess patient health needs and problems
• Implement physicians’ orders, perform treatments, start IVs, administer medications, and interpret special tests.
• Administer direct care to injured, disabled, ill, or convalescent patients
• Review and maintain medical records
• Implement and develop nursing care plans
• Counsel patients and family members on disease prevention and health maintenance
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patients’ conditions and needs
• Supervise the work of licensed practical nurses, nursing aides, and assistants
• Educate patients about their medical conditions and treatment plans
• Maintain a safe, hygienic working environment
• Prepare rooms and medical equipment and decontaminate instruments
• Provide emotional and psychological support

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians and hospital staff.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional, friendly attitude.
• Experience in home health care.
• Experience in an emergency room or intensive care.

Salary
N80,000 Monthly.

Job Description

• Update patients' medical records that documents all evaluations, medications, treatments, allergies, test results and other records
• Evaluate a patient's symptoms and determine the most appropriate course of treatment to address them
• Prescribe medications in compliance with state and federal statutes and inform patients of all possible risks, complications and interference with other medications they may be taking
• Supervise and evaluate Medical Assistants to ensure full compliance with regulations and make sure that the current care program is as effective as possible
• Consult patients on topics such as proper nutrition, fitness and hygiene to assist them in making informed decisions and taking good care of their health

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an MBBS / MBChB with 3 - 5 years relevant work experience.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
