    Receptionist

    Job Description

    • We’re searching for a Receptionist who will be responsible for providing administrative support to staff and leadership. 
    • The role will involve assisting with payroll, recruiting, scheduling, and managing workflow while providing a positive customer service attitude as well as presenting a professional appearance. 
    • The role will operate within the Admin unit under an Admin or HR Manager.

    Responsibilities
    This role will:

    • Greet and welcome all incoming guests, maintain a visitor log, and be responsible for visitor badges.
    • Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
    • Update calendars and schedule meetings, handling meeting and event set-up and coordination.
    • Assist Human Resources department, Accounting, and Recruiting with various duties.
    • Screens incoming calls and correspondence.
    • Copies and scans correspondence or other printed materials; files accordingly.
    • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
    • Perform other clerical duties as assigned.

    Qualifications
    In this role:

    • A High School Diploma is required, although an Associates’ degree is preferred.
    • Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and spoken.
    • Must have 1-3 years of office support experience along with strong customer service experience.
    • Must have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively, be flexible, work in a dynamic environment while juggling multiple priorities, use technology to optimize efficiency, and work with minimal supervision.
    • Should have solid critical thinking and analytical skills along with attention to detail and organization.
    • Proficiency in MS Office is essential.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement and administer HR procedures and processes. Make suggestions aiming for continuous improvement and adding value to the HR services
    • Provide information and consultancy, where necessary, to managers and employees about employee relations, HR activities, benefits, disciplinary actions, etc.
    • Create and maintain accurate employee records in the HR Systems and database.
    • Prepare and administer employment related documents, such as, employment contracts, annexes, orders for termination/severance payments and others.
    • Provide benefits administration services. Support the development of the Benefit program and its adequate implementation and communication
    • Conduct exit interviews and prepare relevant reports to support the turnover analysis
    • Support delivery of effective employee onboarding process aiming to ensure a smooth and efficient employee induction and orientation
    • Collaborate and take responsibility for smooth and timely running of HR operations and building effective work relationships
    • Support and participate in activities related to internal communication, organization of internal and corporate events, if needed
    • Monitor and apply the provisions of the applicable labor and social security legislation

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

    Technical Lead - M365

    Responsibilities

    • The M365 team supports online and cloud applications for premier M365 customers. Our Fairfax group requires U.S. citizenship and a background check/clearance. 
    • As part of the M365 team, you will spend much of your time collaborating with your team to bring cases to resolution. 
    • Some cases will be transferred to a higher tier of support. Support Engineers will work with peers, Tech Leads, Subject Matter Experts, and Technical Advisors from Microsoft. However, you should also be able to work independently, learn the product and make troubleshooting decisions on your own.

    This role will:

    • Serve as primary point of escalation to own and resolve complex technical cases.
    • Apply technical knowledge in complex situations, using technical documentation to identify appropriate remediation and collaborating with subject matter experts and escalation managers as needed.
    • Identify gaps in process, technical, or case management knowledge among the team and collaborate with the subject matter expert to develop an improvement plan to resolve related issues.
    • Oversee the quality of the team’s deliverables and execute quality improvement plans as needed.
    • Review team performance, grow the team’s technical capabilities, enhance the quality of support, and boost the team’s productivity.
    • Maintain the testing environment and the team’s adoption and usage of tools.
    • Mentor junior team members, monitoring their work, offering guidance, and providing managers feedback about performance and behavior.

    Qualifications
    In this role:

    • 3 – 5 years of experience in technical support, software support, IT operations, or infrastructure services support required.
    • Proficiency in both written and spoken English required.
    • Experience in cloud-based technology support preferred.
    • Higher-level education in a technology discipline and/or relevant technical certifications preferred.
    • Advanced knowledge of technology-based environments & solutions required.
    • Advanced certification in MS Azure, MCSE, CCNP, Linux, and/or other certification in one of the core technologies preferred.
    • Comfort solving complex technical issues and the ability to work independently but know when to ask for help required.
    • Customer-obsession, initiative, and a drive exceed expectations required.
