    Inventory Officer

    Location: Isheri, Ogun

    Jo Description

    • The Inventory Officer will be responsible for accurate weighing, handling, recording, and reconciliation of raw materials and finished goods.
    • The role ensures compliance with inventory control procedures, supports production needs, and maintains proper stock records in line with company standards.

    Responsibilities
    Raw Materials Handling:

    • Receive and verify raw materials against delivery documents (invoices, delivery notes, GRNs).
    • Accurately weigh and record raw materials before issuance to production.
    • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and traceability of raw materials.
    • Monitor usage of raw materials and update stock balances daily.
    • Report discrepancies, shortages, or damages immediately.

    Finished Goods Handling:

    • Record and store finished goods from production in designated locations.
    • Maintain accurate stock cards/bin cards and ERP entries for finished products.
    • Conduct regular cycle counts and support monthly/quarterly stock reconciliation.
    • Ensure safe and hygienic handling of finished goods to maintain quality standards.
    • Prepare finished goods for dispatch according to customer or distribution requirements.

    Inventory Control:

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock records for both raw materials and finished goods.
    • Support stock reconciliation exercises and provide variance reports.
    • Assist in implementing FIFO/FEFO principles in raw materials and finished goods handling.
    • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety, and quality standards.

    Requirements

    • OND / HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in inventory/warehouse operations (preferably in manufacturing or FMCG industry).
    • Experience in raw material weighing and handling as well as finished goods management.
    • Good knowledge of inventory systems (manual and electronic).
    • Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
    • Integrity, accountability, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
