    Quantity Surveyor

    About the role

    • You’ll oversee the cost integrity and financial health of our branch buildouts and infrastructure projects across Nigeria. This isn't just about spreadsheets; it’s about mastery.
    • You will ensure that every Naira we invest in our physical footprint is used honestly and efficiently to create spaces that bring financial happiness to our customers.
    • You’ll be a strategic partner who understands that a building’s value is measured from the first brick to its long-term maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Cost Planning & Intelligence: Maintain a real-time database of market rates for materials and labour across Nigeria. You’ll keep our "Moniepoint Rate Guide" current and accurate.
    • Feasibility & Estimates: Create detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and pre-tender estimates that allow us to move fast without losing precision.
    • Procurement Partnership: Collaborate with the Procurement team to prequalify and vet contractors, ensuring we work with partners who share our commitment to quality.
    • Tender Management: Lead commercial evaluations of tenders and provide data-backed recommendations for contract awards.
    • Value Engineering: Identify innovative ways to reduce costs during design phases while strictly maintaining our brand standards.
    • Contract Administration: Manage the full contract lifecycle, including Advance Payment Bonds, Performance Bonds, and site measurements for milestone certifications.
    • Financial Control: Negotiate and manage "Variation Orders," ensuring every deviation from the budget is justified and approved.
    • Maintenance Integration: Provide lifecycle costing analysis to ensure our materials are durable and cost-effective to maintain over time.
    • Audit & Compliance: Ensure all civil works comply with Nigerian building codes, HSE standards, and our internal governance policies.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Quantity Surveying.
    • 5–8 years of professional experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally with a mix of consultancy and contracting backgrounds.
    • Proven experience in commercial or retail roll-outs (e.g., banking branches or retail outlets).
    • Experience managing infrastructure projects across different geographical regions in Nigeria.
    • Mandatory Professional Membership: Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS).
    • Mandatory Registration: Quantity Surveyors Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • HSE Certification or membership in Facilities Management bodies (e.g., IFMA).
    • Expertise in scale-up environments where speed and cost-efficiency are balanced.

    • Contractors report a fair, transparent, and efficient valuation and payment certification process.
    • Maintenance costs for new buildouts decrease due to better material selection and lifecycle costing.
    • The business has a clear, real-time view of the financial health of the entire infrastructure portfolio.

    Business Lead, Field Verification

    Key Responsibilities
    Strategy & Leadership:

    • Define and execute the overall strategy for customer and business field verification within the Loans Department.
    • Lead, coach, and develop a distributed team of field verification officers, supervisors, and regional leads.
    • Drive process improvements to ensure scalable, efficient, and compliant field verification.

    Operational Excellence:

    • Oversee field verification of loan applicants, guarantors, and businesses across Nigeria.
    • Implement technology-driven verification tools (geo-tagging, mobile apps, photo capture, digital checklists).
    • Monitor verification turnaround times, accuracy rates, and efficiency KPIs.
    • Manage relationships with third-party verification partners, where applicable.

    Risk & Compliance:

    • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Credit teams to ensure field verification processes meet CBN regulatory standards and internal policies.
    • Identify fraud red flags and escalate appropriately to safeguard loan portfolio quality.
    • Ensure consistent documentation and audit readiness.

    Stakeholder Management:

    • Collaborate with Credit, Risk, Operations, and Product teams to align verification practices with business needs.
    • Provide insights from field operations to influence credit policy and product design.
    • Serve as the point of accountability for verification-related matters in the Loans Department.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field; MBA or professional certification is a plus.
    • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in credit risk operations, field verification, or related functions, ideally in fintech, banking, or microfinance.
    • Proven track record of leading large field or distributed teams across multiple regions.
    • Strong understanding of loan underwriting, KYC/AML, and regulatory compliance.
    • Operationally excellent with experience in process design, execution, and improvement.
    • Tech-savvy; comfortable leveraging digital tools to manage and scale field operations.
    • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.

    Talent Acquisition Manager

    Job Responsibilities

    • Strategy & Team Leadership: Design and implement recruitment strategies for multiple job families in partnership with the Head of TA. You’ll define the roadmap for how your team identifies and engages world-class talent
    • Performance & Coaching: Manage and mentor a team of recruiters and team leads. You’ll own their professional development, succession planning, and daily performance, helping them grow as fast as the business
    • Hiring Plans & Forecasting: Use dashboards for capacity planning and hiring predictability. You’ll translate complex hiring data into actionable insights for business leaders and People Business Partners (PBPs).
    • Process Engineering: Continuously audit and improve the hiring funnel—from requirement intake to onboarding. You’ll ensure the process remains agile and frictionless as we scale

    Requirements

    • 8+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a high-growth tech or fintech environment.
    • Proven track record of managing teams that hire for complex Engineering, Product, and Commercial job families.
    • Expert-level ability to interpret ATS data, build hiring forecasts, and use metrics to drive team performance.
    • Experience in stakeholder management, with a proven ability to drive alignment with senior executives and PBPs.
    • A high degree of self-management and the ability to navigate the ambiguity of a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience managing recruitment across multiple geographies (e.g., Africa, Europe, or Asia).
