    Quality Control Supervisor

    About the Job

    • The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for ensuring equipment testing and post-maintenance quality control are performed prior to green tagging or releasing equipment to the Asset Coordinator.
    • The Quality Control Supervisor manages daily operation and maintenance of the test facility and manages test facility personnel.
    • The Quality Control Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring the Quality Management System and required processes (plant procedures, quality plans, etc) are established, implemented and maintained in accordance with API, ISO, ASTM, etc

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the test and quality control (QC) organization.
    • Optimize and standardize test and QC processes, procedures and capabilities.
    • Manage the tracking and calibration of inspection, measurement and test equipment as well as maintenance of the test facility equipment.
    • Periodic technical audits and CAT compliance assessments, while ensuring maintenance related remedial action plan closures.
    • Perform technical audits of vendors and suppliers to ensure compliance with and qualification to the Quality Management System
    • Develop a continuous improvement culture, initiatives and improvement plans in the assigned location or GeoUnit to improve asset utilization, reliability and cost of service delivery (CoSD).
    • Participate in failure investigations as assigned by the GeoUnit Reliability and CoSD or Maintenance Manager and with other functions, ensure that root causes of defects are addressed systematically and expediently.
    • Provide quality data books and Certifications of Conformity (COC) to products and services delivered to the customers.

    Experience & Exposures

    • HND/B.Sc in Engineering – Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Petroleum, Materials/Metallurgy.
    • Minimum 7 years of experience (inclusive of 2 years in shop operations) in oilfield Completions or other oilfield disciplines, including leadership/supervisory roles held.
    • Hands-on competency with Completions technologies for Sand Management Services, Intelligent Completions, and Liner Hangers is an added advantage
    • Experience with Maintenance Processes, Workflows and Quality Control
    • Knowledge of tubulars, material types, connection thread types, termination fittings, and test fixtures.
    • Knowledge of CMMS and Maintenance Methodologies used in the oilfield.
    • Knowledge of oilfield QHSE standards and guidelines.
    • Strong sense of continuous improvement with relevant certifications and executed projects.

    Reservoir Engineer

    The Reservoir Engineer is responsible for assisting in delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable products and services to our customers. Consults with operations groups as needed to support the area of expertise and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement of product and service delivery and formally communicates findings.

    The Reservoir Engineer actively participates in promoting new technology and services offerings and applying lessons learned to improve job design and execution as related to the area of expertise. They provide real-time support to operations as required. 

    Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support in the area of expertise throughout the Sales, Product and Service Delivery process.
    • Assist as required with the development of technical job designs for the Division.
    • Assist with identifying areas where new and cost-effective techniques can be applied.
    • Explore opportunities for value-added products and services.
    • Consult with Design/Technical Engineer role as required to optimize the technical design.
    • Assist in real-time incident response, recovery, and investigation as related to the area of expertise.
    • Assist in evaluating technical viability and overall appraisal of tenders as related to the area of expertise.
    • Remain current on new technologies.
    • Maintain customer visibility through active participation in professional society activities and calls for papers.
    • Understand the competition’s technical offering.
    • Participate in external technical societies and communities.
    • Contribute, write and review technical publications.
    • Engage with local universities, Customer institutes and research organizations.

    Experiences & Exposures

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering
    • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Reservoir Engineer
    • Experience with Reservoir Simulation, Field Development Planning, Production Forecasting, Petroleum Economics and Data Analytics
    • Familiarity with Petrel, ECLIPSE and INTERSECT
    • Development experience with Python is an added advantage.
