    Quality Control Analyst

    Key responsibilities

    • Carryout daily periodic on line inspection of the Mills at least twice in a shift
    • Conduct weekly mills cleanliness inspection visit to the maize mill.
    • Analyse raw materials and buying samples and keep all the records properly for further decision making
    • Analyze in - process control samples and finished products and send to the Millers
    • Report and record all analytical results when heading a shift
    • Analyze complaint samples and competitors’ samples and record the results alert the Quality Assurance Manager on discovery of poor quality consignment while analyzing.
    • Periodically cross check the results of analysis carried out to make sure they are consistent and reliable to maintain credibility
    • Periodic maintenance and calibration of Laboratory equipment

    Qualifications

    • Degree or HND holder in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science & Technology or Laboratory Science Technology with at least 3 years of experience in a maize or wheat milling industry.
    • Have knowledge of applicable Legislation as well as Procedures
    • Process Audit Knowledge
    • Integrated Pest Management Knowledge
    • Analysis carried must be accurate and Precise
    • Accreditation to Nigerian Institute of Food Science and Technology, Chemical Society of Nigeria etc.

    Internal Control Executive

    Job Description

    • The Internal Control Executive is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of an effective internal control framework.
    • This role involves evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of controls, identifying areas of risk, and recommending improvements to mitigate those risks.
    • The Internal Control Executive works collaboratively with various departments to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the internal control framework, including policies, procedures, and control documentation (e.g., process narratives, risk and control matrices).
    • Maintain up-to-date documentation of key controls and processes.
    • Support the annual review and update of the control framework.
    • Conduct testing of key controls to assess their design and operating effectiveness.
    • Document testing procedures, findings, and conclusions in a clear and concise manner.
    • Identify control deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
    • Follow up on the implementation of corrective actions to ensure timely remediation.
    • Participate in risk assessments to identify and evaluate key business risks.
    • Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of risk mitigation activities.
    • Monitor compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
    • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs on internal controls and compliance.
    • Collaborate with various departments to understand their processes and controls.
    • Communicate control deficiencies and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Participate in special projects related to internal controls, risk management, and compliance.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal control function.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 2 - 4 years of experience in internal control, internal audit, or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO).
    • Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies.
    • Experience with control testing and documentation.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Transport Officer / Fleet Supervisor

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Developing potential solutions to problems such as congestion, assessing the impact of recent transport development and policies, such as transport system principle.
    • Designing research methods and survey techniques for transporter.
    • Receive and manage work orders from the sales department and issue vehicle requirements to registered transporters, manage parking lots, update empty vehicle status report in real-time, dispatch vehicles to match sales orders, and prepare dispatching report
    • Coordinate with finished goods warehouse to deploy vehicle loading, check vehicle and driver information matching with transporters
    • Review order matching vehicle load capacity, review vehicle quality compliance, coordinate with weighbridge office to complete empty vehicle weighing
    • Coordinate with finished goods warehouse to manage loading site, confirm vehicle loading is complete and sign compliance, manage vehicle to complete factory weighing, and ensure its loading is accurate
    • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across cross-functional teams

    • Modelling transportation flows using modern mathematical techniques and specialists.
    • Must be able to juggle multiple tasks, can work with a plan, and work in a fast-paced environment
    • Ensure new onboarding transporter documents are properly verify
    • Pre-planning for truck loading available with a good communication skills
    • Proven experience with preparing budgets, and financial and expense reports

    Electrical Engineer

    Job Description

    • As an experienced Electrical Engineer with 4 years of hands-on expertise, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and improvement of electrical systems at the plant and client stations.
    • You will work independently and with teams, leveraging your advanced troubleshooting skills, project coordination, and technical knowledge to support plant and client operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze and maintain plant electrical data to identify areas for improvement in equipment performance, driving the optimization of electrical systems.
    • Ensure the uninterrupted and reliable power supply to plant operations, overseeing electrical load management and fault analysis.
    • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and panels both independently and within a team, ensuring minimal downtime.
    • Lead initiatives to ensure the efficient, safe, and reliable operation of critical electrical systems, including Black State Diesel Generators, electric motors, motor control panels, and breakers.
    • Oversee and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and control systems, particularly for the compression and decanting processes of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).
    • Independently or with a team, coordinate and execute electrical installation projects for both plant and client stations, ensuring all electrical work meets industry standards.
    • Perform commissioning and decommissioning of Pressure Reduction and Metering Stations (PRMS) at client stations, ensuring proper setup and functionality.
    • Collaborate with third parties, contractors, and internal teams to service electrical equipment and install PRMS systems, ensuring all electrical projects are completed on time and to specification.
    • Take the lead in troubleshooting, maintaining, and installing instrumentation and control devices used for measuring and controlling pressure, flow, temperature, and level on compressors and PRMS.
    • Provide technical assistance to third-party teams for the integration of instrumentation and controls into larger systems, especially during calibration and installation.
    • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of advanced instrumentation and control systems for more efficient plant operations.
    • Work closely with maintenance teams to plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks for electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring continuous plant operation.
    • Mentor and provide support to operators and maintenance staff, offering guidance on the effective use and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems.
    • Perform routine maintenance of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interface) systems to ensure seamless integration and efficient user interaction with automated systems.
    • Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of control panels for new electrical equipment and devices, ensuring all systems meet safety standards and functional requirements.
    • Apply industry best practices to ensure safety in the design and operation of electrical panels and associated devices, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

    Qualifications

    • Bsc, Hnd in Electrical engineering
    • 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with strong knowledge of electrical equipment, instrumentation, and control systems.
    • Proven expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control devices.
    • Experience with commissioning and decommissioning of PRMS and related electrical infrastructure.
    • Advanced understanding of PLCs, HMIs, and control panel designs.
    • Strong project management skills, with experience in coordinating and overseeing electrical installation projects.
    • Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance for electrical systems and panels.
