    QA Officer (Operations)

    Job Summary:

    • Monitor and evaluate operational processes across port locations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will lead audits, resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions to enhance service delivery. You will also develop and track QA metrics, ensuring reporting accuracy and continuous process improvement.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Oversee and coordinate quality assurance activities across multiple port locations to ensure consistent adherence to operational standards and procedures.
    • Ensure regulatory compliance with freight forwarding operations.
    • Optimize digital process usage by operational staff through regular updates to the service delivery platform.
    • support customer experience by effectively utilising the platform's quality control and integrationtools.
    • Support the monitoring of end-to-end freight forwarding operations processes.
    • Plan and conduct regular operational audits, identifying compliance gaps and ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
    • Lead investigations into operational quality issues, performing root cause analyses and presenting actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
    • Develop, implement, and monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive action plans (CAPA) to address identified quality issues.
    • Design and deliver targeted training programs for staff on quality control protocols, operational compliance, and industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with port operations and cross-functional teams to identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend data-driven improvements.
    • Generate and present structured quality assurance reports to senior management, highlighting trends, risk areas, and strategic opportunities for process enhancement.
    • Support the creation and implementation of operational performance dashboards and reporting tools to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure informed decision-making.
    • Continuously identify opportunities for operational excellence and quality improvement, leading on the execution of approved initiatives.
    • Foster a culture of quality and compliance by promoting QA awareness across departments and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and performance metrics.

    Business Intelligence (BI) Manager

    Job Summary: 

    • The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager will lead the development and execution of data strategies that power smarter decisions in our digital freight operations. This role will manage the BI team in designing and maintaining scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting systems that provide real-time visibility into key business metrics. The BI Manager will partner closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into analytical solutions, create dashboards and reports, and drive a data-driven culture within the organization.

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities

    • Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies and present findings to line manager.
    • Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement.
    • Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
    • Monthly and Quarterly updates to existing and prospective investors.
    • Identify solutions for continuous improvement and leading on implementation.
    • Implement analytics reporting and Business Intelligence dashboards as required by various functions of the business.
    • Interpret data and analyze it into action-orientated reports for stakeholders' understanding and use.
    • Promote a data-driven culture and decision-making process within the organization and equip various teams with actionable data oriented Key Performance Indicators.
    • Initiate strong cross-functional partnerships across all the teams within the organization.
    • Facilitate team and other analysts in the design and implementation of appropriate analytical processes which support business objectives.
    • Interface across all teams to understand their data requirements and provide them with realistic insights and reports.
    • Perform data analysis to generate periodic and ad hoc reports as required for business purposes and decision making. This includes sourcing and mining data across the business to feed the business reports.
    • Recommend process improvement initiatives to increase business efficiency and effectiveness; including participating in cross-functional meetings to resolve recurring customer issues for data input and processing.
    • Work across teams and functions with a wide range of projects related to data analysis including, revenue analysis, changes in trends, cost analysis, performance monitoring, KPI management and reporting.
    • Implement forecast and trend analysis using enterprise databases, software systems, and other data sources.

    Experience and Qualifications

    • Bachelors' degree in either Economics, Mathematics, Statistics OR Engineering.
    • Certifications in data analytic tools compulsory power bi, skilled in Canva, google studio.
    • Minimum of 7 years in in business/financial/logistics/ trade management or forecasting including at least 2 years in a team lead role.
    • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools for data visualization.
    • Working knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases.
