    Project Manager - Salesforce CRM Implementation

    The Position

    • We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of Salesforce CRM across the business.
    • This role will drive the full lifecycle of the Salesforce deployment, including solution design, stakeholder alignment, system integration, implementation, adoption, and optimization. 
    • A key focus will be ensuring seamless integration between Salesforce, Rencore, and Mambu to support customer management, loan origination, deposit onboarding, and card product workflows.
    • As the Salesforce Champion, you will work closely with business and technology teams to deliver a platform that drives operational efficiency, customer experience, and business growth.

    Responsibilities

    Salesforce Project Delivery:

    • Lead full lifecycle Salesforce implementations and enhancements—from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, integration, testing, data migration, training, go-live, and post-go-live optimization.
    • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, and risk registers using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
    • Serve as the Salesforce Implementation Champion by building executive sponsorship, driving cross-functional alignment, and promoting user adoption across departments.
    • Work closely with Salesforce architects, developers, administrators, and external implementation partners to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Facilitate workshops, process mapping, gap analysis, and requirements sessions to translate business needs into effective Salesforce configurations and automations.
    • Lead change management, communication plans, and training programs to maximize user adoption and minimize resistance.
    • Manage project budgets, vendor relationships, and resource allocation to deliver projects on time and within budget.
    • Deliver the Salesforce CRM implementation aligned to business goals across the Loans, Deposits, and Cards business lines.

    Project Planning & Governance:

    • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan covering scope, milestones, resource allocation, risk management, and budget tracking.
    • Establish governance structures including steering committee meetings, working groups, and cross-functional status reviews.
    • Monitor and report project health metrics including RAG status, issue logs, dependency maps, and change control.
    • Apply structured project management methodologies appropriate to the implementation context.

    Systems Integration & Technical Oversight:

    • Lead the design and delivery of the Salesforce → Rencore → Mambu integration model.
    • Define data flow specifications, field mapping, and API integration requirements with architects and integration teams.
    • Define and validate condition-based triggers governing when customer information is propagated into Mambu.
    • Oversee data migration, system integrations, and quality assurance activities.
    • Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and regression testing cycles.

    Product Workflow Delivery:

    • Oversee Salesforce workflow design and configuration for Loans, Deposits, and Cards product lines.
    • Ensure workflows align with regulatory, compliance, and operational requirements.
    • Support:
    • Loans: Lead capture, credit application intake, document collection stages, underwriting handoff, and disbursement triggers.
    • Deposits: Account opening workflows, customer onboarding journeys, compliance documentation, and activation conditions.
    • Cards: Card application management, eligibility checks, approval workflows, and fulfilment integration.

    Customer & Lead Data Management:

    • Define data governance standards for customers and lead information managed within Salesforce, including mandatory fields, data quality rules, and lifecycle stages.
    • Establish validation frameworks that determine when a lead record matures into a customer profile eligible for downstream system population.
    • Ensure the integrity and completeness of data migrated or created in Salesforce, with traceability into Rencore and Mambu.

    Stakeholder & Change Management:

    • Serve as the primary point of accountability for all Salesforce implementation workstreams with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Manage relationships with implementation partners, Rencore technical teams, and Mambu integration support.
    • Lead organisational readiness activities, including training programmes, process documentation, and adoption tracking.
    • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and escalate risks or blockers through appropriate governance channels.

    Compliance & Regulatory Alignment:

    • Ensure the implementation adheres to NDPR and applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure AML, KYC, and credit risk requirements are embedded within workflows.
    • Ensure audit trails are built into Salesforce configurations to support regulatory reporting and audit requirements.

    Requirements
    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
    • Minimum 7 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years managing CRM or enterprise software implementations.
    • Proven track record delivering Salesforce implementations in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
    • Demonstrated experience managing system integration projects involving multiple platforms, APIs, and data pipelines.
    • Experience in financial services or fintech, with knowledge of core banking concepts, loan origination, deposit management, or card processing.
    • PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification required.

    Technical Expertise:

    • Strong knowledge of Salesforce platforms including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Financial Services Cloud.
    • Experience managing integration architecture, APIs, data migration, and data quality initiatives.
    • Familiarity with Mambu or similar cloud-native core banking platforms.
    • Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, Asana, and Confluence.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Project Management certification.
    • Experience working in regulated financial services environments.
    • Knowledge of CBN regulatory frameworks.
    • Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programmes.

    Credit Admin Analyst

    • First payment default - must ensure proper scrutiny of documents and a minimal likelihood of First payment default
    • Fraud detection - Ensure all applications approved should be fraud free
    • Minimizing approval error - Loans should be approved with less than 0.01% error. All loans approved should approve accurately and error free
    • Numbers of transactions processed - Amount of transactions processed should not fall short of requirement
    • Transaction processing turnover - must ensure all approved loans should not exceed the stipulated required time (maximum of 15minutes per file)
    • Accuracy in Loan disbursement - must ensure accurate disbursement account validation prior to actual disbursement of funds
    • Other underwriting related activities - must ensure other activities asides underwriting in the department are carried out smoothly and processed timely with accuracy.

    Requirements
